Could testosterone differences explain race and crime gaps?

The following study shows testosterone differences between Blacks and Whites:

In the United States and Britain, where race and crime data are recorded, Blacks have significantly higher crime rates than Whites; the data shows persistent differences in violent crime rates between the two groups, regardless of changing socio-economic levels for Blacks.

However, testosterone gaps between Whites and Blacks have not significantly changed.

Since only a constant independent variable can explain the constant gap of race based violent crime, should inherent differences, such as testosterone, become a more accepted explanation for Black and White violent crime raters than currently?

By itself I doubt increased testosterone explains the statistics. Personally I feel culture has at least a part to play in this...The African cultures are generally more likely to allow theft, violence, and excessive reproduction. It seems to me at least, that this cultural tendency has not adapted well to the society we forced it into.

 

By itself, I don't believe it accounts for all or even most of the difference either. Rather, I believe it is multi-variable with testosterone being one among several 'inherent' and 'cultural' reasons.

But testosterone differences must account for some of the crime gap between Blacks and Whites.

To believe otherwise is to suddenly ignore that we accept testosterone is why men have higher violent crime rates than women.
