Actually, I prefer to look at it as self-sustaining, but arguing ideology with Liberals is like arguing with an infant child over philosophy, you and I wouldn't get anywhere at all. The whole concept of a debate itself is entirely tiresome. I should not have to argue ideology with you(or anybody.) Politics should be like any other job: Get me a CEO, hire me and I'll show you I can do the job. In this case, we've seen Liberal Ideology overwhelmingly since 1975 and there isn't a whole lot of arguments you can make for it. In fact, we're down to the last argument: The same one given for Communism: There's never been a PURE Liberal ideology! Conservatives have always gotten in the way! Even with supermajorities lol. Well, there have been exactly TWO majority Republican governments in 50 years. Ike's Administration, and Reagan's first term(Second term was a Democratic Congress). So you're looking at a span of 23 years. The Democrats held the Senate throughout Bush's term, and held the House from second term onward. So if you're wondering why Bush was able to get even some legislative things across: Unlike President Crybaby, he reached across the aisle.
The GJ was clearly biased, in "clearing" PP of actions that it very clearly and demonstrably took part in. You can't say "Well they were framed!" Framed or not, they committed a crime. Not indicting PP is showing favoritism. The court system in the US has been shown to be a sham in the 21st century.
I'm not arguing, sounds to me a whole heck of a lot like you're trying to argue with me. I simply pointed out the absolutely blatant hypocrisy of a republican claiming that people who get abortions are selfish, yet they support a tax policy that enables selfish greed by the richest americans, they support a policy of ending welfare which harms only those without, based strictly on platitudes and irrational nonsense about welfare check recipients just being lazy and not down on their luck, etc. As for ideology - don't want me to point out the hypocrisy? Then don't be a hypocrite, it's that simple.
Equating Woman to Abortion shows who the real "haters" are. - - - Updated - - - What did they "alter".... not back to this "editing" crap again are we?
someone already posted the law, PP was not guilty of it... but Ironically the false accusers were, karma
Did Gynos stop existing? - - - Updated - - - So then Stem Express is facing charges as well? - - - Updated - - - States in which tissue sales by PP didnt happen. Not every clinic "donates" tissue.
"Rogue DA" and "tampered grand jury"? I'm sure you have more than your opinion to share with us. So, let's have your evidence. Oh, you don't have anything but faux outrage? Thanks.
See, it works like this; in order to indict you need something called 'evidence'. I'm sure you've heard of it.
Of course it was. It was a hatchet job done by editing things out of context. Their actions were thoroughly dishonest and the context they tried to palm off in their doctored videos was a lie. It fooled the rubes who already have their agenda, but it didn't pass muster from an objective standpoint.
You cant "doctor" videos and then release the enter hours long complete versions.. That talking point is beyond over used at this point. There IS a grey area in Federal law concerning tissue sales and reimbursment.
Of course it was for several reasons - there was no profit and the people who made the films have not only been exposed as liars but criminals as well. Had there been any wrongdoing on the part of any PP office, it would have been exposed by now. Wasn't. Reason: it didn't happen, but you are free to believe anything you want.
Has there been a full audit of any clinic that actually "donated" tissue? The answer to that is no. There IS a grey area in the federal law and hopefully its changed.
Wrong. The ideological pendulum began its leftward arc in the mid to late 50's with desegregation, peaked in the 60's with civil and voting rights, and started back to the right again in the 70's with Roe v Wade and the OPEC driven energy crisis. Reagan was the first wave of the current iteration of conservatism, which peaked under the Shrub, and started swinging back to the left with the 2006 midterms and the push to legalize gay marriage. That pendulum is still swinging to the left on its 20-30 year arc. Somewhere around 2040 it'll swing back again, with a whole new generation of conservatives outraged at what has changed between now and then, waxing poetic about how we should return to the saccharine days of "The Aughts," and bemoaning all of the changes wrought by the liberal judges Clinton or Sanders will appoint. The upshot will be that the new generation of conservatives will look at the issues our current crop of conservatives are so outraged about and wonder how they could be in such blatant denial about so many simple facts - kind of like we look at George Wallace and his ilk today. The history of this nation is that social progress never stops. It moves in cycles, with periods of conservative pushback in between. Time is the ally of progressives, and the mortal enemy of conservatives. It always validates one, and ultimately destroys the other.
How so? Its funny if this grey area in the law was called a loophole you would have to be against it to be consistent.
The Texas PP clinic in question hadn't participated in fetal tissue donation since 2010, and rebuffed the fraudulent propagandist's repeated attempts to entice them to start doing so again. No crime was committed, except by the fraudulent pair of propagandists. The irony is as delicious today as it was yesterday. So are the repeated Reich-wing denials of simple, fundamental reality. The louder they scream, the faster that ole pendulum swings to the left...
There is no grey area. The law is working exactly as the legislators who wrote it, and the governor who signed it, intended. The fact that this upsets your ilk is simply icing on the cake.
Your own link shows this grey area. I dont have an "ilk" outside of finding sock puppets pathetic... Hint hint.
Amazing that there is still someone that doesn't know that videos can be faked. Do you actually believe that all those science fiction movies are really proof that aliens and vampires and zombies exist. Guess you think that the movie about Moses is proof that God exists.
You call it a bug. Those with working frontal lobes and basic reading comprehension skills would call it a feature.
By releasing the entire video? Come on man... Drop the act. - - - Updated - - - I call it a grey area which many legal experts admit to. I said nothing about a bug. Is petty insults all you have?
