The fact that you think you can beat a global virus constantly morphing and evading vaccines and attempts to eradicate it is comical. You're living in a fantasy land.

Yep, vaccines don't work, that's why smallpox and polio are still a huge problem.

I love this galaxy brain take every time I see it. Everything called a vaccine is the same. When the FDA gets paid enough money for someone to write vaccine on the bottle, you know it's the good stuff.

Vaccines based on inactivated and attenuated viruses using 200 year old technology are exactly the same as modern technology because they are both vaccines, ya see. FDA says so. Must be true. Of course, we're going to ignore the fact that we haven't been able to use the same 200 year old technology to eliminate influenza or malaria, or TB Lyme, West Nile, Zika and hepatitis C. You know a long an varied list of viral infections. We're also going to ignore the massive changes in hygiene and sanitary sewer systems that contributed to the eradication of certain infectious diseases that were prevalent 20o years ago.

We're just going to go with the premise that engineering our cells to make proteins for our body to attack is the same as drinking deactivated virus. MRNA vaccines are pretty much like teaching your body to make cancer so it can learn how to fight cancer. Actually that was the first application of MRNA vaccine... Clearly it is exactly the same as drinking an empty polio virus husk. Same thing because it says vaccine on the bottle.

Vaccines work to provide immunity. This Covid serum is nothing more than a flu shot for a very contagious and possibly deadly flu. The Covid shot gives us a degree of protection from becoming hospitalized or dying.

If it were truly a vaccine, why did the CDC quietly change the definition?

Supreme Court vaccine mandate ruling won’t bar companies from demanding Covid shots for workers — Biden vows to advocate for that

The Supreme Court ruling that barred the Biden administration’s Covid vaccine mandate for employees of large employers will not prevent U.S. companies from requiring vaccinations for their workers.

President Joe Biden vowed Thursday to push for companies to do just that in order to save American lives and prevent even more financial fallout from the two-year coronavirus pandemic.

“The Court has ruled that my administration cannot use the authority granted to it by Congress to require this measure, but that does not stop me from using my voice as President to advocate for employers to do the right thing to protect Americans’ health and economy,” Biden said in a statement.

the problem with common sense is that there does not appear to be much of it on your side.

what happens when the next deadly variant evolves/ or ebola or an outbreak of the plague? or some nightmare from a biowarfare lab? this decision means the government has no authority to do much about it.

the mandates worked, they got many many more vaccinated, now, time to open up and let Omicron do the rest

everyone that wanted the vaccine has had the opportunity to get it

the unvaxxed knew the risks, now it's on them, wish them well, but time to open up

omicron is more contagious and less deadly, so soon we will have herd immunity, vaccine or not, vaccine is better, but natural immunity will work

so your solution is to welcome the deadly disease into your family? to accept as many million casualties as possible as long as it does not interfere with commerce?

I find it heartbreaking that we would need a vaccine mandate to make people do what they need to do to protect themselves and others. This is not a very "United" States any more. Tragic.

We don't have a credible vaccine. And smallpox isn't covid. Maybe one day we will, but for now we don't.

All the variants so far have originated in other parts of the world and you still think "damn if only we could have businesses mandate covid vaccines here in America, we could end this pandemic!"

~ Apparently the protein based vaccines are not showing infected individuals in the trial study groups. Few side-effects as well. Not sure but they may be more effective at preventing the spread. FDA was not interested in these vaccines development.

Some states have already passed legislation prohibiting employers from enquiring into vaccination status or firing employees for lack of vaccination.

I don't agree with that, looks like a violation of business owners' property rights to me, despite my stringent opposition to mandates.

I think we understand that we are going to live with it into the future regardless of what you think or the government says. The reason we understand this is that medical professionals have told us. We have never conquered influenza and there is no reason to think we will conquer this manufactured version of it. It will be endemic just like all the other influenzas.

What do you think mandating vaccines for 52% of the people in the country is useful?

I believe a greater percentage of the country is already vaccinated and covid is jumping for joy at that because the vaccines don't stop omnicorn.

But you know they're going to say that's all because of the unvaccinated right.

Which is odd to me because actually had covid a few months ago and I was going to make sure I did everything in my power to make sure I was the end of the line for that. This is before they did any of this quarantining stuff I just because I have since and I've lived in the world longer than 3 years I stayed in the house and didn't go anywhere until it was over.

I would say that's how you defeat the virus but it only works if you know you have it.

What vaccines did they use during the Bubonic Plague? And keep in mind, that was 1000x worse than COVID.

Sorry, your political party can’t be trusted. The Democratic Party has a disgusting history attached to that name to boot.
I don’t trust a damn thing that Democrats tell me to do or what they promote. Biden can take that vaccine and shove it up his fascist ass.

That was going to happen regardless of the vaccine, or any vaccine for that matter. Or did you not know that the vaccine is not a cure? Even the vaccinations that you get as a child does not cure the things that they are for. Chicken pox for example, even if you've had the vaccine, you can still get it. The effects are less. But you can still get it.

All your post did was show your ignorance of the subject. And partisan views.

And Biden lies. The court ruled that OSHA does not have the power to enforce the rule because OSHA is not a healthcare agency. Their job is to handle workplace safety hazards. THAT is the power that was given to them by Congress. Congress did not empower them to do anything beyond that. And a world wide virus is about healthcare. Not workplace safety. It IS possible for Congress to give them that power. But as of yet, they have not.

False. This ruling was about the powers of OSHA. Congress never gave them the power to handle healthcare issues. Just safety issues. SCOTUS said nothing about whether or not CONGRESS can make a rule/law giving OSHA this power. SCOTUS said nothing about Congress making a general law about it either. In point of fact SCOTUS upheld Biden's mandate for government workers. So, if CONGRESS were to make such a law, or give OSHA the power to make/enforce such a law, then they probably could. That has not been tested yet. As such your statement that this decision means the government has no authority to do much about it is false, or highly misleading, whichever term you wish to use.
