You should learn the definition of socialism. It is in my signature. Read it and learn

You don't actually understand the issue. The US spends over 17% of it's total GDP on healthcare which is the highest of any developed country. And results are inferior in many ways.

And while some of the poor are deadbeats they get healthcare on the dole anyway so that isn't actually the issue. We who pay taxes pay for their healthcare already. The issue is how to do it in a more cost effective manner and Medicare while not ideal is more cost effective than private insurance.

    Thats old school

Modern socialists are far too dumb or lazy to engage in producing stuff

They now want the private sector to do that like grey hounds chasing a mechanical rabbit and then have government step in and take most of the profets for the welfare state

Sorry but you and Trump are not qualified to make up imaginary definitions.

And the government is taking the profits for the welfare state? What are you talking about. Under Trump the deficit has ballooned thanks to his tax cut for the rich.

I think we (meaning Americans who had private health insurance BEFORE obamacare) get better healthcare than the socialized medicine countries

Libs wrecked the system for the sake of uninsured dead beats who wanted free healthcare

The left tried classic socialsm and failed miserably

Now you can only practice the fascist economic model of private ownership but government control of the output

Which means you will have to let the producers keep some of the proceeds for their own use or they will stop producing for you

But it’s an empirical fact single payer provides better care, more efficiently and at a fraction of the cost. We already know this.

In spite of liberal claims healthcare is not a right

Meaning the left has no moral right to take healthcare away from more well off Americans and give some of it to the poor

Meaningless. It depends on number provided by the various countries. Unrelated. It has nothing to do with the U.S. Thanks, though, for the effort.

So you didn’t read it, and choose intentional ignorance. Got it. Reality will still be here if you decide to join us. Single payer provides better care, more efficiently and for far less cost than our system. This is empirical fact.

However, cutting a budget doesn't mean cutting fat.
I say this based on 30 years in the public school system and working with budgets at the school district level. It was a constant internal battle against everyone from administrators to staff to cut wasteful spending.

Waste? Plenty. Even at a school district level, we had meetings to coordinate holding meetings. It was insane.

It reminds me of the "all you can eat" restaurant where the manager tells the guy chowing down that it is 'all he can eat.'

Medicare will never cover everything. Never.

Not only will it not cover everything, but the citizen will shell out 20% of what it does cover, plus scripts. This after the tax bill each citizen pays

The poster I was talking to refuses to state this inconvenient little truth
