oh please  I can't stand this crap anymore

From the moment Iran decided to fund the Houthi rebels they created what is Yemen today, the human misery they cause every time they destabilise a country is in the millions. Saudi Arabia is defending it's southern border... I think Russia needs to stop pointing at others and start explaining wtf it's doing in eastern Ukraine

You are mostly right, but AQ, Boko Haram., al Shaabaz, Taliban and others have also moved into Yemen in the past 20 years.

There is NO hope in Yemen and that is not the fault of the Saudis. The majority of the Yemeni population is under 15 years and have never known anything but conflict and deprivation.

Keep in mind that their #1 role model was a torturer (Mohammad) - Mohammad had a Jewish leader savagely tortured with fire until he told Mo's gang the location of the tribe's treasure - so no surprise there.
In all fairness though, Christians are not any more ethical than Muslims are, as they approve of this "Jesus" fellow who is a savage torturer too (he's ok with the barbaric "lake of fire" for innocent people who just happen to not accept the magic of Jesus' claimed divinity.) Obviously "no torture" is a better and more loving belief than Jesus/Mohammad/Christians/Muslims adhere to.

I've seen Margot2 DEFEND the Saudis for many many years now, so the Saudis, despite being one of the most barbaric regimes ever, do indeed have their defenders on this very forum. Sad, really.

Yes she is blind to their flaws... but let's not pretend any of the other parties on this forum pushing their own agenda are any different

    Here's the latest Margot -

Seventeen of the people detained at the Ritz Carlton have required medical treatment, and now they are putting a medical unit in the hotel. The one in charge of the torture ward, is an Egyptian that worked under Mubarak and is known for his brutality. In the meantime, there is no more room for the latest prisoners, so they're renting the Marriott next door for the next purge.

It's doubtful that he will ever be able to get all the money from his prisoners. They have had years to figure out ways of hiding it... and let's face it, the brokers and banks are certainly not going to reveal their assets. But here's the best part. The dreams the clown had for Neom, a $500 billion artificial city financed by foreign investors, will fall apart. As Moon said, one cannot steal money from some people and then expect other people to trust assurances that such could never happen to them.

“Half my Rolodex is in the Ritz right now. And they want me to invest there now? No way,” said one senior investor. “The wall of money that was going to deploy into the kingdom is falling apart.”

What lake of fire, I'm a Christian and I never heard of it? What I heard is turn the other cheek, or do unto others as you would like others to do unto you.

A "moderate" Muslim won't kill you in Jihad, but won't condemn the Islamic texts for advocating that exact same thing.

Yes, they've brainwashed their followers to think that god/Jesus are good and loving.
These savage, hateful, and barbaric verses refer to what I'm talking about:
    Revelation 20:14
    Revelation 20:10
    Revelation 21:8
    Revelation 20:15
    Revelation 19:20
    Matthew 18:8
    Mark 9:47-48

"If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell, where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.

    Matthew 25:46
    2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

    Matthew 13:42
    Revelation 20:13-15

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    2 Peter 2:4
    Nahum 1:6
    Deuteronomy 4:24
    Jeremiah 4:4
    Malachi 3:2
    Matthew 25:41
    Luke 16:23
    Verse Concepts
"In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom.

If it's not the fault of the Saudis then why in hell are they bombing and starving them... together with their allied terrorists? Or do you consider the Yemenis 'untermenchen' and therefore not worthy of life? Hmmm, now where have I heard that before? :confuse:

    So you're against torture, apparently?
If I can point out verses in the Qur'an and Bible that approve of torture, then surely, you can join me in condemning those verses, correct, Jeannette?

Torturing someone in "hell" would certainly qualify as thinking that a non-believer is "not worthy of life". I think we can agree that the Saudi and "god" are pretty barbaric, right, Jeannette?

Oh now I understand. If I warn someone not to do something, (like for instance jump off a bridge) so they won't get hurt, it means that I'm the one who is hurting them since I was the one who warned them. I get it! Better then I keep my mouth shut and never warn people, that way I won't hurt them. :wall:

Freedom seeker what do you think the Bible is? It's all warnings as to the type of existence you'll end up in if there is not a personality change. It doesn't mean God is putting you in that kind of 'existence', you're doing it to yourself.

No, if "god" loved us he, being all-powerful, would of course change the rules to be more loving, more compassionate - as the Bible stands now even Gandhi (let say an ethical person, but who was not a Christian), will get roasted alive in the "lake of fire". If I had god's alleged super-powers, I'd of course change those barbaric rules to allow ethical Hindus into "heaven" and avoid "hell". That's because I'm more ethical, more fair, and more loving than god/Jesus is. I have a feeling that when you can get past the fear that god/Jesus has put into your heart that you are at least as loving as I am, Jeannette. Prove me right.

If "god" didn't have the POWER to change that system, then the Bible wouldn't be so evil - but most Christians approve of the god that set up that very system - and god is clearly immoral for doing that.

I'm sorry, I thought it was the abbreviation for Saudi Arabia.

What was in the works since Fahd was king, the cash grab? As for reform, what kind of reform, Islamic reform and back to days of yore, and one man sultan rule?

Kind of reminds me of Hamlet:

People were given a free will to choose the type of existence they want after death, they can either be with Him in His existence which requires a personality change, or be outside of that existence and continue with the same mind set ... which of course is hell because this world and everything that is important to you will cease to exist. You seem to have a strange obsession towards a God that you do not believe in.

Anyway this is not the forum or the thread for this discussion. So let's stop.

You have made yourself a 'god' through arrogance and pride. This is the barrier that separates you from your Creator. Humility and the recognition of one's limitations is a perquisite towards unity with the Divine. You have placed yourself outside of God's love, and a world without love is a very cold world.

Are you humble enough to believe that out of the 3000+ gods that have ever been claimed, that you are not smart enough to beat lottery-like odds and pick the one, true, real god out of those 3000+, Jeannette? I'm more humble than you because I don't think I could pick the one - seeing how all 3000+ have the same level of evidence for them. I'm more humble than you are, Jeannette.

When you finally figure out that no one can win without a party. Let me know, then you might have learned something about politics. Until then all that whining about the US not being perfect. Is useless and redundant.
