First off, Beckham's antics didn't need your acknowledgment. They happened on their own without your permission. You took it to the next level. Your initial response was you gotta take it as well as give it. You said specifically that he had to give it. Those are your complete words in context. Any reasonable person would take that at least as a passive endorsement. You certainly didn't denounce it. Again, stop with the twisting and dancing.

Also, stop pounding the free speech drum. Of course we all have free speech. We also have the freedom to use digression and pick the appropriate time and place for what we communicate.
