for all the crying about Russia, California secession organizers say they've opened an embassy -- in Moscow.

California gained an embassy in Russia last weekend, at least in the eyes of those who have promised to seek a statewide vote on secession, nicknamed "Calexit," in 2018.

Louis Marinelli, a San Diego resident who is the leader of the group promoting an effort to turn the state into an independent country , organized the Moscow event that was publicized on social media.

"We want to start laying the groundwork for a dialogue about an independent California joining the United Nations now," he said in an email Monday.

Someone does not know that foreign policy matters rest fully with the President.

And it's called the GOP. Yes, we know. The one dark cloud that has no silver lining.

No. There is no dark cloud over Trump. Based on recent polls, it does appear that dark cloud is over the Democrats, it seems their attempt to smear Trump has backfired.

Trump smeared himself forever without any help from Democrats. His lifetime resume of racism, womanizing, xenophobia, stealing from the government and private individuals, has smeared him forever.

    Irrelevant.

But I wonder, as others do, why you are even in the forum? Obviously to whine and complain, but that serves no constructive purpose. To provide entertainment to the forum? Maybe, but that's wearing thin, people can only laugh at the wild antics of desperate proggies for so long.

Sure it does. <Mod Edit-Rule 3> That is very constructive in my view, because if nothing else, it exposes the truth. And as long as the truth is exposed and parsed between those who seek the truth and those who choose to dismantle it,then there is always hope for something good to happen in the end. I'm sorry for you that you've chosen the wrong path.
But, they can wisely recognize the truth when they see it. <Mod Edit-Rule 3>

Really? You blaming Wikileaks for exposing Clinton and DNC corruption and turning off potential snowflakes and/or open minded voters from supporting the skank or were you talking about millions of illegals that the left thought should have been voting. There is absolutely no reason for lack of proving citizenship at the polls and voting is so GD simple even a retard can do it. There is NO reason to wait in line, if registered to vote the board of elections mails you a mail in ballot. NOT EVEN THE COST OF A POSTAGE STAMP. You have posted the sour grapes post of the decade. CONGRATS!

That's a good idea, we did get a St. Trayvon sub-forum before Zimmerman was acquitted, so it wouldn't be unprecedented...

Trump would not have won, except that the DNC chose Hillary.

    What horse (*)(*)(*)(*).

Trump is President and he is draining the swamp!

House passes bill to curb excessive regulation

Federal agencies will be more accountable to Congress. Easily passed the House in a 238-183.

The law will force agencies to justify the high cost of regulations and limit the ability of judges to interpret the rules.

The legislation would give President-elect Donald Trump tools to wipe out abusive regulation. The costs to comply with federal rules are higher than intended by Congress.

There is little accountability for regulations that apply to the very minutia of American life, created by appointed officials and not elected representatives.

The current reform push is part of Trump's campaign promise to drain the swamp.

House Republicans - last week - passed bills requiring Congressional approval of major rules and giving Congress power to kill dozens of recently enacted ones.

The bill would require agencies to post more detailed information on proposals for an extended period of time, limit judge's interpretations in legal challenges, and require agencies to enact the lowest-cost version of a rule.

Reining in the power of judges to interpret the regulations with a political agenda in mind can only be a good thing.

This gives Congress the opportunity to review regulations that will cost U.S. businesses more than $100 million and virtually wipes out the Obama administration's midnight regulations enacted in the last 60 days of the president's term, lighten the paperwork burden on U.S. businesses while still protecting the health and safety of the consumer and workers.

    Haha. Enjoy your President mate.

4, probably 8 long years. I hope you enjoy it, because it's happening no matter if you do or you don't.

8 more days and you'll have President Trump, Dark Lord of the River Hades and Chief Devourer of Souls in the Third Realm.

PS: constituonally there is no such thing as the popular vote. It has as much clout as the potato vote.

PPS: Russia is in the right in the Ukraine. The pro-EU coup by Kiev fascist nationalists pushed public opinion in Crimea to the point where all reputable Western polls show 80%+ support for the status of Federal City within the Russian Federation. 20% of the population boycotting a referendum does not make it illegitimate.
