He was talking Biden vs Sanders they aren't voting Biden vs Trump yet. And with Bidens struggles these days his hands may be down come November.
It looks like someone is afraid to let the public hear Bernie speak again. Or is someone afraid to let the public hear Biden speak half the time for 2 hours? Let me point out a few things. I count 10 future primaries Sanders is likely to win and 6 he might win (of 31 remaining). Sanders won 7 in a row from March 22-April 9, 2016. His time of year is approaching. The results from Tuesday make it clear we're still in the shadow of the 8-person race. Next week may be different (though I have not yet considered which candidate that will most help). The biggest consideration is the difference in the schedule and consideration for voters. In 2016 about 13 very evil superdelegates announced they were voting for Hillary to clinch a first ballot win about 5 days before the last batch of primaries (including North Dakota and California). Voters in those states were outraged. Hillary could have lost California 99-1 and still clinched with 15% in New Jersey that night, but those evil people decided to make California meaningless, so only 2.3 million Sanders supporters decided to go out and vote for him anyways. So California, tired of being neglected like that (usually both parties) moved their primary to March 3 and changed everything. I disapprove of that too, or at least the DNC allowing both Texas and California to vote the same day that early. I suspect the DNC and the media wanted this race to end as soon as possible. Because California was there in the crowd, candidates who had no chance of good numbers there dropped out in the last 3 days. If California waited even one week Klobuchar and Buttigieg might have found a lonely place to focus on and taken a win or 2 out of the day. In Bernie's case, he knew a win in California was essential to his viability. If he had won Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Oklahoma but lost Texas and California to the same opponent the headline would still be Biden takes biggest prizes. So he sacrificed Maine and Oklahoma trying for Texas, California and Massachusetts. With that trifecta added to his other wins, this thread would be drop out Joe. North Dakota risked a winter storm that would wreck their primary to give Bernie or someone like him a needed win this week. He got it. It would be an insult to California and North Dakota to drop out now. Those of us in the remaining states are unhappy of course. We've lost many good candidates, but at least there's a spark of hope that there will be an active campaign. I live in Rhode Island. Republicans in that state went from 1976 to 2016 with no voice in the outcome. When both parties had an active campaign in 2016 my precinct was mobbed at midday in the rain. Bernie won that day, an oasis amid big losses, but we were happy to keep him going a little longer.
Is Sanders hanging just on principle and will try to get a spot at the Convention to push his socialist polices? Or does he think Biden may have that major slip that could bring down his campaign be it a health issue or a gaff issue?
~ Very suspicious about Bernie getting sacked by the DNC - whether you support him or not. Even Trump has made comments about this...
Bernie should endorse Biden at the end of Sunday's Debate and Drop Out. The Latest polling data is looking like Bernie is headed to Massive BLOWOUT LOSS A Look at Some of Joe's Polling LEADS: FL 66-25 OH 57-35 IL 63-25 AZ 51-34 There is NO REASON for Bernie to go on past Tuesday. And, if he cared at all for Party Unity And Beating Trump he would withdraw during Sunday's Closing Statement. Just think: 2 Weeks Ago, S. Carolina was still voting and some people actually (mistakenly thought) that Sanders was "The Frontrunner". Now 2 Weeks Later, Bernie is Complete Toast. Wow, that happened quick.
AOC is just being Pragmatic. She likes Biden better than Trump and she wants Trump GONE. AOC is a Hottie, Though. She is a Total Rock Star.
