Uh huh. I bet you don't.
Not even a potential problem with Nexus passes because the card is linked directly to a government database. If the government pulls the Nexus pass, they change the database and the card is useless.
If they can't get a job, many will leave on their own.

Thats a waste of time and money, plus it doesnt fix the illegal alien problem.

Social Security has a government database.
The IRS has a government database.

So clearly another super awesome government program, costing tax payers billions, is going to save us from actually enforcing the freakn law......

    What a joke.

    Yes. It is.
But it is our system and to ignore it is a crime.

Looks like you don't understand why we rely on the Nexus Pass for border and airport security.
"Clearly?" I'm talking about at long last having an affordable e-verify program that makes illegal aliens radioactive for employers, even people hiring day labor or domestics.
Try to approach the problem with an open mind.

I do have an open mind. Do you?

If you want a functioning government sanctuary cities and states gotta go.
If you want wage growth sanctuary cities and states gotta go.
If you want upward mobility for America's poor sanctuary cities and states gotta go.

Some billion dollar e-verify system is not a replacement for enforcing the law.

You haven't evidenced an open mind. You've made comments about the cost without much apparent understanding of computer technology and how this could be worked into how government handles Social Security.
Have the feds enforce the law. Our Constitution doesn't allow the feds to pass laws and then demand states tax their residents to enforce the law.
We don't have to change the Constitution--what allows states to have so-called "sanctuary cities"--to implement what I suggested.
It's a tool for enforcing the law.
