Are you aware that the overwhelming number of abortions are less than 12 weeks with the majority of those only 8 weeks? In fact with the advent of the "medical" abortion that 6-8 weeks is more and more common?

It has a high failure rate because it is not maintained. You can lecture people all you want about "not doing something" and people will continue to be people. Humans have a very very high reproductive drive that is coupled with pleasure reward from sex.

Humans do have a high sex drive. Humans that don't have mental problems also have the ability to abstain from sex. Would you be satisfied with a rapist's "my sex drive made me do it" defense. Of course not..

Yes, a mother and CHILD are two different bodies because to be a "child" one has to be born.

If a fetus is a separate body from the woman it's in then it should be able to be removed, set on a shelf , and grow on it's own. CAN it be?

You apparently just can't grasp exactly what abstenence is. Abstinence is NOT having sex. People that choose to have sex are NOT abstaining.

The fact that some Priests choose not to abstain has nothing to do with the fact that Abstinence is 100% effective and had no side effects.

Let me try to make it even more simple for you.

Let's say for arguments sake that condoms have a 98% effective rate. That would only apply if someone actually used the condom, wouldn't it?

Millions of pregnancies occur when people don't use condoms and aren't abstaining. Your can't blame abstinence any more than you can blame condoms..

Is that simple enough for you?
