    I agree. As a parent I learned long ago the benefit of having all your toddlers making a mess in one place. Better to have the Democrats fixated on impeachment efforts so they don't end up causing real damage elsewhere.

    House Democrats are in the LEGISLATIVE branch wouldn't you think they should be actually be LEGISLATING...instead of constantly INVESTIGATING...:rant::roll:

    If Trump sees an injustice, being America's chief law enforcement officer, he has every right to get involved or pardon Stone if he wanted, other presidents have done it. It's just that it's TRUMP, is the problem...

    I guess everything Trump does is impeachable because the Democrats don't like it, Congress is abusing their power!

    The sentence was outrageous for Stone and the jury was tainted! Trump has every right to get involved if he feels there is an injustice; he could pardon Stone if he wanted.

    Trump can just pardon him. Not seeing how there can any corruption when it could be nullified anyway. Voicing opinion on this seems quite the opposite, like allowing the system to proceed. Liberals will whine about anything these days...

    First they should amend the Constitution and wipe out Congress as the Legislative Branch. The new 3 branches of government will be the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch, and the Investigative Branch.

    The new Congress is not required to ever work on legislation for the good of the country. Their sole function is to investigate the Executive Branch and run back-to-back perpetual impeachments.

    Stone's sentence was outrageous and the jury was tainted. When Trump exercises his rights as President, the left scrutinizes because they hate Trump.

    With the evidence forthcoming a retrial is the only answer. Much too much bias in that verdict. Hopefully the Durham criminal investigation will be completed by the start of a retrial and the prosecution will dismiss the case due to conflicting evidence.

    On your last sentence....Maybe Trump keeps them too busy providing material which SHOULD be investigated. Do you not see that?

    Yes, Trump can pardon, and that is what he should have kept up his sleeve. He should not have publicly involved himself in what is a decision for the DOJ and Barr to take. You might dismiss it as a mere tweet, but his subordinates and Barr have taken a different view. They are quite right in doing so. If Barr resigns, would you consider that as quite significant?

    I have no idea if the sentence was 'outrageous' and I doubt you do either. And yes, It does appear that the Jury was tainted, and I'd be quite happy to see Stone get a re-trial.

    I have not seen that, even on this site. I do see Hannity paraded around as some unbiased commentator. We have one like him down here. He is largely ignored and has no real impact. I reckon Hannity has a significant impact. He 'feeds the chooks' on Trump's behalf as does Fox, largely. Sure CNN tries to hit back, but that goes to the core of the problem. Polarisation. Not good Team USA.
