    Wrong!

The law that applied to the STATE DEPT did NOT make that a crime.

Only the law that applies to the DOD makes that a crime.

Hillary was NOT the Defense Secretary.

Hyperbolic "Star Chamber" bovine excrement exposes DESPERATION!

The SENATE can acquit your crooked BLOTUS so what are you worried about?

Or are you WORRIED that they will find him GUILTY?

Perhaps that is the REAL REASON for all of the hyperbolic drivel.

I'm sure you are fully prepared to back this with a link? So S.Dept employees can keep TOP SECRET info on a personal server? Love to see that proof. Can they take such files home, as well? So why did she lie and claim this? "I never received or sent any material marked classified" much less 8 TOP SECRET.

    The KEY TERMINOLOGY is highlighted below;

    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/798

That phrase is WHY Hillary was NOT prosecuted because it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to prove that she KNOWINGLY and WILLFULLY put that classified information on the server because she did no such thing and FURTHERMORE she was NOT even AWARE that anything on the server was classified.

That law is what Comey was citing when he said that she was NEGLIGENT but without HARD EVIDENCE that could prove beyond any reasonable doubt that she INTENDED to make classified information available to anyone else there is NO CASE against her.

This has been KNOWN by everyone who was NOT blinded by HATRED for Hillary.

Sure, you can believe she had no knowledge. That would make her so incredibly incompetent after how many years of handling classified info? At what point should she have been expected to know about such things? She knew, damn good and well what she was doing

In which case all you need to do is PROVE that allegation BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT in a court of law.

Your BLOTUS promised you that he would "lock her up" so what is stopping him from keeping his PROMISE to you and the rest of his supporters?

Can you imagine how ENRAGED they will be if Hillary is standing behind the next Dem POTUS when they are sworn into office?

You mean being held up by some swarthy dudes?

You must believe she is incredibly incompetent to have no clue about handling classified info. Pretend President Trump did the same.

Why is your BLOTUS failing to keep his PROMISE to you?

    Was he LYING about Hillary?

    Sure seems like it.

Always amusing when a BLOTUS supporter is faced with the FACTS about his BLOTUS lying to him.

But you can take consolation in the FACT that your BLOTUS lies about EVERYTHING, including himself.

Comey was not in Clinton's pocket. That is not the least bit logical. Quite the opposite, in fact. His public excoriation of her in July 2016 was out of the ordinary ... no previous FBI directors had ever done that, especially not to a presidential candidate. Then in October he opened his trap again when emails were found on Weiner's laptop, finally admitting there was still nothing just days before the election.

If he was "in her pocket" as you claim, I don't think he knew that, because for all of those same months, the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign, and he made no announcements about that. So, whose pocket was he in then?

So you are saying Comey was just stupid? Comey cut her a lot of slack- exactly why we may never know, but he did. That puts him choosing to apply the rules differently to different people, and that is in effect, selling your loyalty. Anytime people in the business of law start deciding to adjust the consequences for violations on the basis of politics or friendship, something is very wrong- and it happens everyday; it has needed to be called out and changed for a very long time. Of course it pisses a lot of people off; it is challenging a power that they have always been able to use even though it wasn't granted by their position. They see it as "latitude" they are entitled to.

It's sad but true that even the best of people are biased in their professional conduct by their own preferences. Judges will rule in favor of people who support the values they like and think are important. He will rule for the locals over the out-of-town party. I knew of one locally who was well known to rule against clients of lawyers he didn't like, regardless of the case. Judges, police, prosecutors all have a degree of latitude, but they also stretch their perceptions to fit their bias and exceed reasonable latitude to get the outcome they want.

Trump is the outsider in politics, which immediately makes him dangerous. Unlike most politicians, he didn't have obligations or need to depend on ties to the established political structure. Nobody owned him, and therefore had no handle to control him. He was bound to bring change to the system- and that was bound to produce great avarice among the entrenched politicians in Washington. No matter how bad congress is performing, those people judge themselves with a great deal of latitude, justifying pitiful results with generic excuses. That has been entrenched in Washington for decades, while presidents came and went. This did, and does, exist all through the bureaucracy of government, in every agency- and I think that a great many of those people see Trump as a threat to their security, a force of change. There's a lot of people in that group and that means a lot of embedded political enemies. Not just enemies to Trump- but to the goal of improving the performance and service those people owe the nation, but have been sliding by for their entire careers. Getting rid of Trump is getting rid of the exposure to that risk, of the change in accountability, of the shift in the expectations of the public that threatens the entrenched system.

    Comey was one of them.

I've explained this to so many righties. You guys are not getting good information, so here goes:

At the time all of these emails were sent or received, none were marked as classified. It was only during the investigation that they found about 110 containing information that the originator should have so marked, including one that contained something that qualified as TS. As someone trained in both original and derivative marking of classified documents, I can tell you that the recipient is not responsible for that.

However, using a home server was both stupid and reckless. She should have known better, but there was no criminal intent. If I had done the same in my working days, I would have lost my clearance and my job, and since Hillary no longer has either of those things, justice has been served.

Stop listening to Rush. He has a neverending axe to grind with Hillary more than anyone else.

Not gonna read that whole rant, too tired. I'm actually in the hospital at this time, recovering from major surgery yesterday, so take it easy on a poor soul, will ya? Give me one point at a time, please.

No, Comey isn't stupid, but he is a conservative and has no love for liberals like Hillary.

    From your link:

"On the one hand, I believe that sentence is likely accurate," said Danielle Brian, executive director of the Project on Government Oversight. "But I also believe that it is so carefully crafted as to avoid a more important question, which is whether there was information in her email that should have been marked classified."

Emphasis mine. Your link basically says the same thing that I did. There's a whole section in your link titled "Classified After the Fact." As I said, stupid, and very careless, but not criminal or indictable.

First the dems are not trying to steal or reverse the 2016 election. He will never be impeached by the senate so I don't even get that talking point. What will happen is that Trump's facade will be cracked and he will be hurt in 2020. Republican senators in swing states will have to answer to the voters why they voted no, and why it was not a an abuse of power. And based on thier acquittal vote what abuses of power will they allow in the future.

Bail out: Save their ass. Cover for them. Say it was just carelessness. Ignore the facts...

I know, if Trump really cared about you he would give you a sucker for being such a good boy at the doctors. At least sent you a personal sympathy card.
If he cared,he would give all kiddies a pony, too. He would understand the importance of promising free stuff so you wouldn't have to become independent, self-supporting. strong and proud.
I guess he thinks those things are more valuable, even though you have to work for them. And yes, I think that way too.

I'm not a boy (typical conservative assumption), and if Trump sent me anything, it would probably make me vomit.

You're too unfeeling for me. I'm adding you to my ignore list. Life is too short to deal with some of the asshats on this forum.
