Critical thinking itself has a liberal bias

If it's being 'wrongly called CRT then it's NOT CRT.

One of the problems is that DeSantis is a purposely obtuse oaf. He knows very well that CRT is not taught in schools and is just using this as a way to establish control over education so as to indoctrinate students. Mussolini would be so proud

That word doesn't apply, no. But, is woke authoritarianism taught in schools? Is racism taught in schools masquerading as the opposite? Are white kids being encouraged to be ashamed of being white? If so, do we not recognize the danger this poses, and that its going to feed directly into white pride and increase the very racism these misguided people claim to be fighting in the first place?

I don't see much difference between the Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi types and the Richard Spencer types. Do you? I think they are opposite sides of the same racism page, and we need to tear that page out of schools. Good actual liberals shouldn't make excuses for one while rightly condemning the other. It only creates a hypocrisy the right can prey on.

I do not want compelled speech even if the intention seems good. So I agree with Jolly on this.

And to my evangelical friends you people want to organized prayer and bible study in schools so I also disagree with that.

Reciting words in itself doesn't define indoctrination. History classes will eventually explain the meaning behind the words. Indoctrination involves shaping the mind to believe a certain ideology, like if you're white you are an oppressor. If you're black you're the oppressed. That mindset requires more than just reciting a few words a day. Try getting white children to say: "I'm a racist." every day. They won't have a clue of the meaning behind the recited words. That's when indoctrination enters into the equation via teaching the meaning behind the words. And doing so in various (and subtle) ways.

    You didn’t answer the question.

So you would have no issues with students saying everyday “white children are racist” as long as they were not simultaneously taught they are racist?

If it only took a few moments.

I don’t think we should be expecting minor children to pledge allegiance to anything. Think about what those words mean for a moment.

One set of words refer to something other than the person saying it. Even reciting words to the effect of calling someone else a derogatory name would never be allowed in the classroom. Your question compares apples to oranges.

Then change it to the BLM or pride flag. Does that help? As long as it’s quick every morning

Or “I pledge allegiance to diversity and inclusion”. Forced for all school age children.

You're still not seeing the difference between saying the poa and crt as it relates to indoctrination. Poa doesn't fit the definition, but then democrats are good at changing the meaning of words to line up with their agenda.

The chances of him actually clearing things up for the activists and media is virtually nil. They do not want to hear it.

He didn't understand your explanation, that is YOUR fault since you wrote it. Either explain it clearly or admit you don't understand it yourself.

They have for quite some time, but that information keeps getting ignored. So we are still dealing with COVID.
