It is ironic. It's also looks like it's going to come back and bite Trump too. The nasty underbelly of politics is really ugly, no matter the party.
Not actually a personsl question. More an attempt to understand why you are so clueless as to how the American system actually functions.
It is what the investigation is trying to uncover! Who unmasked the name and leaked it to the press. According to the latest reports, an NSA whistleblower has stepped forward with evidence that it was an Obama Administration aide. Nunes knows. It's a felony.... It's... a felony.
That sounds like something lame they would say, too. What city and state do you live in? I just want to know why you don't understand politics in America.
No, the investigation is on the Russian interference in the 2016 election. As a side note and because of Trump's claims of being wiretapped, several of the Republicans asked questions about leaks, just as several of the Democrats asked questions about Trump being involved with the Russians. Do you have a link to the NSA Whistleblower, other than zerohedge and breitbart?
The Steele dossier earned him a cool million $$ ... and is absolutely worthless. Manafort may have fleeced his Ukrainian comrades, but I think he'll get a pass for being a huckster. He's offered to testify before the Intel Committee. Flynn, looks like a dead end too. Probably premature to speculate, but it sure is fun!
Here is your rather silly post in case you have short term memory problems. "Sure he can. This does not bode well for certain someones." Guess you actually don't understand that the President cannot pass laws. Perhaps a short high school refresher course on how laws get passed would help.
No, the Nunes investigation is now about the Obama Administration and the spying of the Trump campaign. There is an open FBI investigation (started while Obama was in office during the election) on the Trump campaign for collusion but no evidence has ever been turned up. Most likely false news by the former administration trying to undermine the current Presidency. The NSA whistleblower was announced tonight on the news.
The dossier was a curiosity to me at first, unconfirmed, but interesting. When parts were corroborated, my opinion changed. Have you ever read the English excerpt of "Foundations of Geopolitics?" If you haven't, and you have a minute, Google it and read the Wikipedia entry on it, with the knowledge that it is a textbook in the Russian military by Putin's favorite philosopher. Then mentally add back speculation of where we might be right now. It's disturbing. I was a teenager during Watergate. I never wanted to see something like that again, but I think we will. I just can't rationalize why Trump had the RNC platform changed, and then they all denied it. After changing their story, Page and Gordon have now been quoted as saying the instructions to change it came straight from Trump. If I could answer that to myself, I could dismiss some other things. I don't see the House committee working. It's too partisan now and Nunes is tainted. If an independent investigation takes place, someone will start talking. Maybe the Senate committee will do better, but I don't have lots of confidence it won't just be partisan ping-pong. I don't know what's up with Flynn or Manafort, but I do believe Roger Stone is in trouble. McCain keeps saying there are a lot of shoes to fall off this centipede. Time will tell.
Dude, it's a fake. It's nonsense. The lengths the DNC and the former Administration to delegitimize the current Administration is pretty crazy. The left has taken nasty politics, lying , cheating and collusion to a whole new level. It's bad for everyone. Eventually, if they win, we will all lose.
You watch way to much TV. It's not going down like that. You will be waiting a long time. Like that birth certificate situation.
And, what difference does it make? Campaigns and people don't change game plans? Do you watch football? Fake News. Explain why Obama and his Administration spied on the Trump campaign and the transition team? Why did Obama get caught spying on the UN, journalists and Heads of State? The evidence is coming out soon.
If Putin had any hand in this at all, he must be quite proud. The division this has sown, and atmosphere of suspicion of our own institutions have surely exceeded his wildest expectations. It really may be in everyones best interest to accept whatever "findings" can be agreed upon behind closed doors. The democracy requires we find our way forward.
If you file to get a warrant for party A when the real target is party B, who you cannot get a warrant for, then that is lying to the court.
Simple it never happened. You believe Rachel Maddow too damn much. One person proposed an amendment with harsher language om Ukrain was adopted with only minor changes. Somehow this change in an amendment ended up in as a platform change once it entered thr absolutely insane liberal echo-chamber because people like Maddow are insane.
What waa corroborated. You do understand that when someone is making a fake like that its not going to be 100% fake. Its going to take real events and make up fake stories around them. Like Trump did stay in that hotel room the lie is thr golden shower. You seem to be very easily deceived.
Indeed. And the fault lies with the Democratic Party, they wanted it to end like this. Since they couldn't win, they would try to destroy the Trump Presidency. But the length and extent they've gone, makes you wonder if you'd want to hand them power again. Having lost power once, they'd easily turn to draconian measures.(Hell, it looks like they might've already went there.)
The guy is a gangster swindler with a reputation that proves it and you think that it's anyone else other than himself, his nefarious associations and his own actions that will expose him and take him down? Really? Just wow!
It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Trumps surrogates reached out to Russian business contacts to see if they had any useful dirt on Clinton. I am not convinced that the Russians were Assanges source, but it's pretty clear both campaigns were run "no holds barred". The aftermath has been devastating to our democratic institutions. Acease fire must be mutually agreed upon before all public trust is completely eroded.
