Did Trump's arbitrary decision cause the Saudi oil refinery attack?

Yeah, as Dorian was heading northeast, away from Florida, Trump warned the people of Alabama that they may get "hit hard" by the hurricane. For six days he maintained he was right, and brought in his chief of staff, commerce secretary, and an anonymous NOAA employee to support his false weather forecast.

Soon after that we learned that he had invited the sponsors of the 9/11 hijackers to Camp David for a meeting four days before 9/11/19.

Now he says we are "locked and loaded" and prepared to hit Iran. “The United States is more prepared” for a conflict than any country in history. Then he says he wants to avoid war, but his secretary of state says Iran did it, but Trump is not sure who did it.

Trump says he will place American military might into the hands of the Saudis. On Sunday, after bragging that U.S military forces are “locked and loaded,” Trump made it clear he would be more than happy to order a strike on whatever country the Saudis tell him to hit.

We, Trump said, “are waiting to hear from the Kingdom [of Saudi Arabia] as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!” Spoken like a Commander-in-Chief who has no idea what the American military is all about.

It really gets confusing sometimes.

 

Trump is so sick its scary.. Iran seized another oil tanker today.

 

Of course Trump is responsible for Iran attacking the Saudi Oil.

He will spend the night in the Albuquerque area, then travel to California for a slate of fundraising events Tuesday in Palo Alto and Beverly Hills. Trump will attend additional fundraisers in Los Angeles and San Diego on Wednesday before returning to Washington.

Trump leaves behind the Office of the Director of National Intelligence without a permanent director. Trump fired Dan Coats months ago. His secretary of defense has been on the job for all of two months. Trump has no National Security Advisor. He fired John Bolton a few days ago. His chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney is acting in an acting capacity.

What a President.

If Iran did it -- and I am reasonably certain she did -- yes, of course. Like I said, there is a direct link between Trump's rueful decision to pull out of the JCPOA and reimposing sanctions and the attack on the oil refinery.

We will see, but I think you are dreaming. We got a President who seems to be willing to hit any target the Saudis suggest. Also, should a war between S.A. and Iran break out, we will get roped into it for sure. The Iranians are not going to let the Saudis retaliate on Iranian soil.

BTW, any war with Iran will make the Iraq war seem like a walk in the park. I seriously doubt the non-military Trump knows that.

On the other hand, he acts belligerent, then takes it away with his next sentence. That's typical Trump. He always wants it both ways and he is scared to death of committing himself.

 

Iran did this deed but Trump is not acting rationally not as a CIC. This is no surprise though.

Trump is a Clown show host. About time El Saud got some payback .. The Houthi's had every right to attack them - and if Iran supplied them with the arms to do it .. who are we to talk ? Our arms have been used by Saudi Arabia to decimate Yemen ... No one even debates there were war crimes and humanitarian atrocities o plenty .. Heck .. they are even talking implicating the US because we armed El Saud and were complicit in this war.

A smart President would keep his mouth shut, allow his people to sort it all out, allow discussions as to what to do about it, then, when all that is completed, report to the American people sans grandiose military boasts. Trump is non-military. He doesn't know that Americans do not have to brag about our military prowess.
