    Huell Howser "California Gold."

    Anyone who has or ever lived in California knows who Huell Howser was on PBS.

    He was doing one episode on either Eagle Rock or Highland Park and as the camera spanned across all of the apartment buildings covered with gang graffiti a young white liberal lady in her early 20's walked outside from one of the apartment buildings.

    Huell asked her to comment on all of the gang graffiti and her response was...

    "Isn't diversity great."

    On Mom's side, directly from a crack in the Earth in Norway ( some bit of animosity between Norges and Swedes); Dad's side.. much more diverse, from the looks of him, we had serious strain of Semite blood, but the family name has roots in Britain. I live in the Mexican Border culture.. a mix of Mexican Indian and Western Culture.. and I have (mostly) adapted to the culture here. .. speak Spanish, married a woman born in Cd Chihuahua ( a mere 160 miles south of here and the nearest city) We are going this weekend to see our latest Grandchild, born in Cd Chih.. I look at my wife and her family.. racially they are very European, I suspect of French extract.. lots of blond hair, bu tshe considers herself part of La Raza.
    That said, we do share a foundational Western and Christian culture (tho' the Catholics apparently do not consider Protestants "real" Christians LOL)
    Son.. who looks like a Classic Scandinavian, married a girl who is half NY Puerto Rican and half Jew. One thing I'll say about the mix, it makes for beautiful children!

    It’s beyond stupid to argue that the actions of a small percentage of any ethnic group define the whole of that group.

    Crazy reply on your part. The entire premise of the OP is that the problems that white folk endure are all caused by other ethnic groups. He is literally blaming other ethnic groups.

    Muslims rejected Jews, The Spanish has rejected Italians, the Romans have rejected Greeks, the English have rejected the Irish, the Chinese and Japenese have rejected all you have mentioned.....could you please be more specific as to who you are pointing the finger of guilt??? Or would you accept my premise that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"? I suspect you want to indict anyone other than yourself so you can sit on the progressive "high horse".

    Hmm, an interesting theory...however reality seems to completely disprove it. The most successful economic engines in the world also are way more often the most diverse. California, the world's 4th or 5th largest economy, is way more diverse than say Montana which isn't even making any list of the largest economy. While California may have more issues to deal with than Montana, the value outweighs the cost. So I fail to understand why California should turn away diversity at the risk of no longer making billions of billions of dollars. Sorry.
