Not sure why you posted this. The thread isn't about former President Bill Clinton either. What does he have to do with the current President of the United States not knowing the name of a country he is discussing? Or do you just miss Clinton so much you thought you saw a reason to bring him out of your head and into the open?

If any of you had to address groups, or god forbid address a world audience via television day in and day out (the thought of that re many of the LW posters on this forum is gutbustingly hilarious for some reason... as if), you might cut some slack for those of ANY political stripe who do.

What can be learned from this thread? The LW Complex childishly attacks the gaffes of its political opposition, while utterly ignoring the SHIPLOADS of such gaffes from its own side. Just another reason why millions of Americans are tuning out biased media.

Yeah, that scrap happens to be the current President of the United States.
Compare with Obama all you want. He's not the one who might accidentially totally destroy South Korea because he can't remember which direction is North...

Hold on a second. Are you claiming you never have gone offtopic? Think carefully before you respond. You know I'll have the quotes ready to go. :)

He mispronounced the name of a country. Its not like he got the number of states wrong in the country he is supposed to be governing.

Whatever, the RW does not control the MSM, the LW Complex does. Fail.

You can go on repeating this for the rest of your life, as I'm sure you will.

This was a straightforward gaffe, made improptu at a campaign rally.

That's a far cry from not being able to real off a telepromoter in front of a room full of world leaders on live television all over the world.

Barack Obama knows where Namibia is. Donald Trump would have trouble finding Yonkers.

No, Obama's failures certainly eclipsed his gaffs.

If South Korea is nuked, it's because the male Clinton gave him the capability, and Obama never did anything about North Korea except avoid the topic.

The problems in the present are failures of the past.

Sure, you're free to do whatever you want.

Yes, Trump mispronounced something. So what. All Presidents make errors when speaking.

According to Waters, Russia invaded Korea and Pelosi thinks Bush is still POTUS. haha. hoo hoo. That's a hell of a lot worse than a mispronunciation.

It's not difficult to figure - other people got the point.

You said the confines of the White House were "sacred" did you not?

I don't care. I was responding to your whopper about the White House being "sacred".

It has nothing to do with the current president not knowing the name of a country he is discussing or the previous president not knowing how many states are in the country he is governing. It has to do with your outlandish statement that the building where President Clinton was playing Cigar Aficionado with White House interns is "sacred".

I don't miss Bill Clinton at all, but you missed my point. Are you being deliberately obtuse?

Sure, after someone explained to him how many states there were, he "caught" himself.

It's still a far worse mistake than a mispronunciation.

The Oval Office is sacred. You don't think that? Okay, that's your choice.

This thread isn't about Clinton. It's about Trump. How about you comment on what Trump said and not deflect to Clinton?

I'm the one mocking the hypocrisy of this thread.

    Very good!

They are, however, in positions of governmental leadership....and quite stupid.

You're right, anyone that does public speaking will at some time make a mistake and if you have a different view you will mock the mistake. But you are wrong when you make it a right/left argument. Another point is if you take the "57 states" gaffe Obama acknowledged it the same day......let me know when Trump admits to making a mistake.
