Its sad isn't it. But the door was open when free trade with China was announced. Basically the worst thing the world did was allowing them to trade on "equal" footing when there has never been anything equal fair or moral about how they do business or treat their people. And now countries will be beholden to China once they control their infrastructure. Its amazing how they can't see it or don't care.

Its just speaking out and stop being afraid. The world has to remember exactly what their govt is. Call out WHO for being their lapdog. Why is the world funding them when THEY LIED ABOUT COVID. They said exactly what China told them to. Remove their funding until they stop lying.

Our president, politicians and influencers have to call out the NBA for being hypocrites. Especially Hollywood. Stop catering to their whims. They are making the rest of the world adapt to their totalitarianism and lack of free speech in order to do business with them. How soon before they'll start demanding actors speak out against their own countries or deny reality in order to release a movie over there? Whooops, they just did. Show how much IP they've stolen instead of claiming its racist to point it out. China is laughing at the world as it abuses them. And I get it. Money talks. The NBA wants that money. Hollywood wants that money. Little countries love "free" internet infrastructure and servers in exchange for who knows.... In my opinion everything said here until the last paragraph would have almost no effect. This is a perfect example bluster instead of policy. China is not the little nerdy school yard kid you can bully and troll with insults.

The idea about the world cooperating and working together is where the solution has to lie. Unfortunately Trump took the going it alone route. He started a trade war with China and had no long-term plan on how to win. He imposed tariffs and China simply devalued it currency more to counter. They respond with tariffs and we spend billions in bail out to the farm industry.

Obama tried a united approach but TPP was weak sauce. We need a more hard line approach and someone with the ability to rally the rest of the world to support it. Unfortunately China is not stupid. They are not only making the US dependent on them but also the rest of the world. Our America first ideology does not help the cause because it causes us to withdraw from the world. Instead of building stronger international relationships we made it known to the rest of the world America comes first. I have no problems with an America first policy but when you rub it in everyone face it does not help international relations. Obviously China has a China first policy but you don't see Xi Jinping shouting it to the rest of the world. We cannot ignore Africa and let China have access to that market and influence of those nations. China is heavily invested in tech and renewables. They want to be world leaders in everything from EVs to space exploration. The only way the US can combat this is use the advantages we have but it will be difficult.

First he needs to concentrate on getting Mexico to pay for that 'wall' he promised they'd foot the bill for. But as long as he proposes our Congress raise revenue in its annual budget to build it instead, he might as well face the fact that our Congress will be paying for covid costs instead of China.

He was not very good at getting these things to happen just by saying the words when he was in power.

I agree with it. Whether he called Trump a xenophobe over this is irrelevant, and not explicitly stated by Biden. Trump acted like a xenophobe with the Muslim bans. The moniker fits.

 

That is the bottom line here.

 

There are two choices here. Support Trumps call for reparations/ restitution or support the communist Chinese regime and its cover up.

 

I cannot support Trump's call to China until Mexico has paid for that damn wall.
