Donald Trump Slams Jill Stein Recount Effort: ‘This Is a Scam’

Once again, Trump takes to Twitter to rage.

Today, it is about Jill Stein's recount in Wisconsin. A recount the Green Party is paying for, which according to Trump is some kind of scam to fill their coffers.

Yeah, his rant doesn't make much sense to me either.

But it seems to speak volumes regarding his temperament, where any perceived questioning of anything Trump causes this sort of foaming at the mouth rant via social media.

For a guy that was going to tone down the tweets, he sure has failed at that.

President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday criticized the election recount request of Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.

“The people have spoken and the election is over, and as Hillary Clinton herself said on election night, in addition to her conceding by congratulating me, ‘We must accept this result and then look to the future,'” Trump said, referring to Clinton’s concession speech on the day after the election.

Stein announced on Wednesday that she would file for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, three swing states won by Trump. She filed for a recount in Wisconsin on Friday. Hillary Clinton’s campaign on Saturday said she would participate in the Wisconsin recount in order to “ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides,” though they don’t expect the outcome to change.

“This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than one percent of the vote overall and wasn’t even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount,” Trump said.

Stein launched a fundraising page to pay for filing and legal fees, estimating that the total cost of recounts in all three states would be $6 to $7 million. Stein pledged to use any surplus money toward “election integrity efforts” and “voting system reform.” The fundraising page had raised more than $5.8 million as of Saturday afternoon.

Hillary never accepted the results. She just needed a lackey to do her dirty work, enter Jill Stein.

 

Anytime the popular vote is superseded by the electoral vote should be an automatic recount.

 

Does sound like a scam, who pays for a recount for their opponent? And why does she keep raising the cost?

Most likely because this is an expensive process with an accumulation of costs that just does not stop and she is broadening her net.

It seems Trump's charge is an accusation using derogatory charges. I am not sure other than through goggles defending him one could see how this qualifies as a scam.

Well LICE Trump should be able to recognize a scam since after all he is a perpetual perpetrator of scam. As far as respecting the results of an election that again is something LICE Trump has demonstrated a bigly propensity to do after all was he not the Dildo Brain who said he will respect the results of the election IF he Wins!

It is my opinion that Trump should have kept his big mouth or twitter shut. I don't know of a single person that thinks the recount will change a thing. It might even enhanced the margin of his victory. Some things one must just let roll off one's back. To comment just makes whatever it is worse, worse for Trump. He suffered from foot in mouth disease all through the campaign. Only shutting up and staying on message the last two weeks of the campaign.

The less he says, the better off he is. He should be staying in the background concentrating on his appointments. Let Stein or whomever play their games, nothing will come of it.

 

Stein Only raised $3,509,477 during the 2016 campaign cycle now she raises 6 million ina couple of days. Sounds like big donor money Dems at work Stein claims to hate. Or maybe she got a grant from the Clinton Foundation

Jill Stein never conceded the election; it is perfectly legal what she is doing. If trump doesn't like it, too bad.

Do you understand the words you are using? Can you explain how Trump's statements classifies as a rage specifically in conjunction with that word you used?

 

She accepted she conceded but that does not mean the process should never be reviewed

 

You really need this explained? Because there is no evidence of voter fraud in support of Trump and this woman received less than 1% of the vote so it cannot change her outcome.

Its pretty obvious its a scam.

 

And like last time you guys are trying to cherry pick certain places only to do a recount. How'd that work out for you last time?
