That doesn't negate the possibility of an automatic recount. Nothing you wrote actually demonstrates that a recount can't be done.

 

Oh, now there's no such thing as a popular vote. What you've stated doesn't negate the possibility of doing one. You just don't want, too, which is fine, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

 

An automatic recount of what, the entire country? Who is going to order that? Only the state can call for any recount of it's results. The federal government has no say so in it. Go read the Constitution.

 

And I still think it should be done. I didn't say must be done; I didn't say has to be done. Read my first post more closely.

I sure did draw a lot of ire from conservatives over a simple nonpartisan opinion statement. Some of them are so uptight about this topic.

Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn said the effort to force the hand recount, which was backed by Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign, did not meet the state’s legal standard for prohibiting the use of machines in the recount, saying that the two campaigns did not show a hand recount, though more thorough, was necessary or show there was a clear and convincing evidence of fraud or other problems.

 

How would it be done and why? If we had a national recount right now what do you think it would change? What result would change? Nothing. There are only 3 states that even Stein is trying to contest and even those states the results will mkt change in them.

 

you have to have an accurate count, but she has accepted the results, unless something turns up crazy which no one believes will happen

I don't know what it would change if anything. I don't really care if it changes anything; that's what you conservatives aren't following in my posts. That doesn't mean I don't think it shouldn't be done in ALL such cases.
