I can't see most gay men eating nutritionless snacks like Doritos. They are far too body consciuos and vain to do that. Now the flannel wearing lesbian crowd might go for this, I've yet to see one that isn't at least a semi-pro snacker.
they aren't margainalized.... if anything, hetero-teen suicides aren't being discussed enough. How about funding SUICIDE PREVENTION education for ANY AND ALL teens... not just the flavor of the day group that we're supposed to think is extra sad when they try to suck start a shotgun
There are numerous orginizations dedicated to the prevention of teen suicides, The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, NASP, National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide, Youth Suicide Prevention Network and many many others. Ones focusing on particular (specialized) prevention is needed. Broken Believers, SPRC, Christian Suicide Prevention and many more direct their cause towards people of faith - do you have any outrage toward them? Your issue here is that this cause is directed at gay youth suicide. You dislike gay people - which is fine but be honest enogh to admit it without using failed talking point and lies. I'm done - you deserve to be marganilized and ignored and I'm happy to oblige Disgusting, from your signature I hope you are not allowed around school age children
LOL!!! How about marketing some sweet and sour semen dip to go along with the rainbow-colored chips???
How many of those are coming up on bags of chips, or Whopper sandwiches? Someone is overexposing and pushing Gay as an agenda. Case in point, neither of those food items above have ever had a wrapper adorned with the causes you listed. When you push a repulsive topic on everyone, expect some pushback.
Doritos can market to whoever they choose, and people can buy or boycott as they choose. Rage and hatred is the domain of the gays, they do not boycott but blockade. A boycott is an individual decision, each person evaluates the situation and decides for themselves whether to patronize a business or not. The gays force their decision to boycott upon others by threatening and attacking people and businesses who decide not to boycott - hence a blockade.
Yet again you are mistaking attacks against the bakery as being exclusive by homosexuals, the bulk was actually far left wing heterosexuals - but continue on. For the record I think private business should be able to discriminate as long as they advertise this fact conspicuously, and no gay person I know agreed with the threats of violence.
So attempting to stop confused youth from killing themselves is a repulsive topic? Ok. And it's a private company - just like when the president of Chic-Fil-A was donating funds to anti-gay organizations - they have the freedom to do as they wish. It's a marketing strategy by one of the largest companies in the world - I'm sure they have realized the "pushback" against this disgusting cause will be localized and irrelevant to their bottom line.
I wasn't offended. It was a matter-of -fact statement. Being offended is your projection onto my post.
It's not so important to me whether or not you think my opinions are genuine. I don't value your opinion enough.
True, many people involved in the attacks were not lgbt people but "progressives", but the lgbt activists lead the mob. If gays opposed the attacks on the various gay mob victims, then they were certainly very silent in their opposition.
Apparently you would like to start with a stereotype that has nothing to do with the lives of many gay people. I laugh when anyone tries to cite statistics that make claims about "x% of homosexuals", because there is no statistically credible estimate of how many gay people exist, and many studies make little if any distinction between people who have had same-sex encounters, versus those who identify as gay. I notice you didn't post a link for your citation. That's a red flag. You would apparently have us believe that the singular shared trait defining the "homosexual lifestyle" is "promiscuity". In point of fact, the singular trait that defines same-sex orientation is same-sex orientation. It isn't a lifestyle, and it's not defined by promiscuity. If you think those statistics you've cited have anything to do with me and my experience of life as a gay person, you would be dead wrong. Anybody can throw out a bunch of statistics in a short-sighted effort to hatemonger against some group. It's something completely different though to think about the complexity of the real lives of the people who make up those statistics; what influences contribute to those statistics. Yet another to think about the people in the target population who aren't a part of those statistics at all. Whenever someone starts yammering about some group of people they dislike, what it really tells us is that this person is incapable of seeing the diversity that exists in a group of people who share one trait. Notice I said one trait. The only thing gay people have in common with each other is an identity informed by their same-sex orientation. Period. You needn't bother responding. I wouldn't be reading any more of your spew.
Why is it that one company pairs with one charity to do something gay-adjacent that it instantly becomes the project/fault of all gay people? I didn't have anything to do with this. It's not about me or the fact that I got married.
Then don't think about it. If that's the image that comes to your mind at any mention of anything gay or gay-adjacent, that's on you - not us.
Because it represents a group of people. All I'm saying is that I'm glad gay people can get married. That's great news. Now let's focus on something else. No need to rally for gay rights when everyone can marry. Maybe focus on the drone strike the Obama administration just did on a hospital.
You forget who you are talking to. The only people who try to defend their love for gays are conservatives. They always have to make sure you understand that they don't hate gays, as if that matters at all. You don't have to like any gay people to support their civil rights. This has nothing to do with whether or not you hate (*)(*)(*)(*) (as the case may be) but rather whether or not you think they deserve equal rights. I never believe conservatives who claim they don't hate gays, but I don't care anyway. Some people are just too simple to grasp such complex concepts.
