He wants banks to be forced to loan money to farmers (there's a shock, he's a country policician) and also wants banks to be forced to give loans to people who can't afford to buy a house because he wants to make it a right for everyone to own their own house.

Efjay sounds like these people I'm arguing with on facebook who are going on about how they vote Liberal because as an army family they want the military strong and the ALP always decreases military spending when they're in power. Never mind the fact that under Howard military spending dropped, thousands of military employees were laid off, etc and that since then, under the ALP, military spending has increases so much that we have tens of thousands more soldiers and our military budget is one of the higest in the world, something like 12th or 13th last time I heard.

If you knew what you were talking about you would know that QLD can't be used to predict what happens politically in other states and at the Federal level because QLD is the only state where a majority of people don't live in the capital city. The demographics of QLD are far different than any other state.

Also QLD is the only state where preferncing isn't required otherwise this would have been a different election, it still would have been a massive LNP win but Greens preferences would have gotten Labor over the line in close electorates.
