Earth just had its 400th straight warmer-than-average month thanks to global warming

Give them time. First they have to finish taxing us for being alive...you know exhaling CO2 and eating meat.

Conventional, light-water fission nuclear power plants are the single WORST idea that mankind has ever inflicted on this planet.

Have we learned NOTHING from Three-Mile Island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima? We need to press on, unceasingly, to develop and deploy hydrogen-fusion nuclear technology, but somehow there's never enough money or focus on it. WHY NOT?!

Because I didn't provide links. Here we go again with the deliberate obtuse bullcrap, as usual....

By FAR more controllable and much less wastematter. Fusion is far superior than fission....

Back in the 80's, they said there was a hole in the ozone that was linked to the usage of hairspray in NY. No bullshit.

"It was the void that changed public perception of the environment forever—a growing spot so scary, it mobilized a generation of scientists and brought the world together to battle a threat to our atmosphere. But 30 years after its discovery, the ozone hole just doesn’t have the horror-story connotations it once did. How did the conversation change—and how bad is the ozone hole today?

But it turned out that contrails weren’t the ozone layer’s worst enemy—the real danger was contained in things like bottles of hairspray and cans of shaving cream. In 1974, a landmark paper showed that chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) used in spray bottles destroy atmospheric ozone. The discovery earned Paul Crutzen, Mario Molina and F. Sherwood Rowland a Nobel Prize, and all eyes turned to the invisible layer surrounding Earth.

Hydrogen fusion plants would 'run' on molecules found in sea water, and produce oxygen as an 'exhaust'. No measurable pollution. Infinite energy source that 'runs' on virtually free material. But, Big Biz doesn't like the word, "free", and maybe that's a BIG part of the 'problem'....

I don't think there is an answer to that question.

I only know that when you have fever, you are sick.
You can call it whatever you like.

Yep...by far the cleanest , potentially most powerful energy generation tech we have ever developed....

Im 50, the weather has been the same ever since I can remember. Winter is still winter and summer is still summer etc. According the 70s lefties we should be dead by now but here we are. Secondly if you believe this why are you wasting energy on something as inane as posting on an internet forum?

I do not believe that we impact the "climate".

We absolutely impact the ENVIRONMENT, however, and we had best stop chasing our tails , wasting $ billions on the UN's Income Redistribution CO2 $cam, and get busy using those precious assets cleaning up/preventing the heavy metals (etal) contamination of our air, soil and water....

Well, not where I live. Perhaps you are just lucky.

What do you expect me to do, go hunt people and reduce world population? :grandma:

Well it's always been survival of the fittest, right? That's how it is in the ocean, in the wilderness, in the jungle, in prison....

I asked you very clearly...why you are wasting energy if you believe this. I never said anything about hunting people. I ask again...why are you wasting energy if you believe we are causing climate change? Stop dodging and answer why its ok for you to contribute to it while preaching to others.

Indeed. That's why I think our taxes are better spent elsewhere and letting mother nature take her course. Humans will adapt to whatever climate we face, we've done it for hundreds of thousands of years. That's why Vikings sailed and trekked North America and similar regions in next to nothing with -50° temps.

First of all, 400 straight months of anything is difficult to believe.

Second, to get an average there has to be higher numbers which must have occurred prior to these 400 straight months.

I've done my fair share of ozone depletion by emitting methane into the air, ask my fiance...

You appear to be implying that there was no hole in the ozone and that it wasn't tied to CFCs...

....What's the point of your post? That you don't believe the validity of the data?

One typical volcanic eruption produces more CFCs than all ever produced by humans , put together....

Like I said, 400 straight months of anything is hard to believe, especially when it's only warming when the left went to great lengths to change the term to climate change to account for the cold weather.

And then there's that average thing, to get an average temperature there must have been higher temps before the 400 months started.
