Yup, and they are getting three times what a HS drop out with loads of experience mowing lawns would get.

The more abusive you get. Take a day off.
State boards have a lot to do with specialty practice. They monitor complaints of all 2/3 of the doctors who are specialists. Why is that so hard to understand. You think specialists go unregulated...what gives smoky ?

Why stop there. Let’s just home school everyone. Public education is overrated when it comes time to teach students how to find jobs when the drop out. You have to be a drop first to gain all that valuable experience, of being a drop out.

They monitor complaints of all physicians licensed to practice medicine in the state.

Giggles, board certification refers to specialty boards. How does it feel to talk so much yet be so wrong?

    Wh
Why don’t you just post what I said. Afraid to be schooled again ?
Did I even refer to certification boards ? Answer, no.
The boards that are highly regulated, are state boards by the states as guaranteed under the tenth amendment. . I guess I wrongfully assume you know that. How does it feel to be wrong.....all the time ?

Nope, not in Red states. They allow the 1/3 non specialists to do whatever they want for surgeries and treatment because, claimed experience is more important then vitrification. This 1/3 doesn't even need a degree......
    Move there.

You were talking about specialist board certification which has nothing to do with state licensing boards.
    Total fail.

I'm a big believer in home schooling; you can teach your children your values instead of having the government instill their values and think of the tax dollars we'd save.

What bad values are they ? I don’t remembering teachers lecturing on anything but subject matter. Science and math and English and history are all bad values ?
Tax dollars ? Think of the jobs they no longer qualify for.

Well, for years auto manufactrers actively fought against congress on higher mileage. And, their idea was that people would own cars for a couple years and then buy a new one. This had significant impact on the life of cars - such issus as cars rusting out due to road salt and requiring significant servicing.

They weren't sensitive to what people wanted.

Toyota didn't sell a hybrid until 2000. But, before that they defeloped a reputation for creating cars that required much less service and had higher mileage - what people wanted.

I really don’t have a theory. It’s just been pounded into our heads that educated people were less likely to vote for Trump. Turns out that isn’t true. For whites there is conflicting evidence. With minorities it’s quite clear the narrative we’ve been fed repeatedly here and in the media is demonstrably false. When false narratives are forced so hard it makes me curious.

I floated theories that education made minorities less emotional about the things you said Trump said or made them more interested in policy that leads to opportunities instead of status quote for minorities. But they are just what came to mind. I was hoping some progressives would enlighten me since they seem to be experts on race and education.

I’m just looking for information. I’m glad you are trying to help

Only if they're lucky enough to find work in the given fluff field. Which is incredibly unlikely (how many sociology/poetry jobs do you think there are?). And even then, it won't be three times the salary of a labourer. Education's economic value - good income and lifetime employability - is in STEM, the licensed 'trades' in particular. Dentist, Doctor, Engineer, Computer Science, Actuary, Etc. Nursing and Teaching are the next best value. While not as well paid, both are in high demand around the world.

I just looked at the graph. It shows a higher percentage of minorities than whites think Obama tried and failed. I find that very interesting. All information fascinates me, not just information that is big in the news or talked about on PF.

Actually I’ve asked for opinions from progressives on why educated minorities were more likely to vote for Trump.

Oh. So who are the ones you say are colorblind?

You know, before I researched this I would have agreed with you. Now I’m not so sure. Pew published both sets of numbers. They didn’t correct CNN’s. Actual random sampling is hard to beat. Professional pollees certainly disturb me. It’s all very interesting. I suppose I shouldn’t think about it, analyze it, and research it so much. I should probably just swallow whatever the media reports. After all, they are the experts.

    The rent/lease car mentality.
    Exactly. Interesting note....
Toyota is a world leader in training auto workers and giving them responsibility. One if their heads was asked, “ how do you deal with the training you give your auto workers, just to see some leave and go to the competition ?”

his response in typical Toyota fashion was..” it’s better then not training them and have them stay” ( paraphrase)

Toyota doesn’t appear to be tied to the yearly returns. They think ahead,

Still, Toyotas aren’t perfect. They’ve had lots of issues with corrosion in some models for some time, namely their small and intermediate taco trucks.

Of course not, it’s a great way of dumbing down the work force and creating fewer obstacles to foreign nations taking our jobs. It’s an excellent idea to MAGA like it was many years ago when most of our work force was immigrant labor. So, let’s home school.

Home schooled students typically score higher in standard test. Home schools have a higher percent of college graduates and get better grades in college.

I’m talking if everyone did it...to avoid liberal thinking ? Funny.
Well, yes they do if they follow a curriculum meant to prepare the kids. They could not possibly score so well if they didn’t mimic the public school curriculum.
Don’t think for a moment that most of these home schooled kids that succeed in college aren’t following a curriculum that does prepare them for college. You’re talking that everyone do it. The few that do it now in general, are motivated, make the time and follow through. Many still avail themselves to tutoring. They already pay taxes, so it’s a double expence.
it’s not for everyone......and, it’s not for those who think that the public school math and science for example, needs a change. It’s STEM that matches.
