One can also say, as I have since day 10 or so when I realized Kiev wasn't a primary objective, that Putin outlined before the invasion the regions he had issue with, and he has marched into those regions (excepting Kherson) almost exactly, AND HAS STOPPED AND HELD as the Ukranians keep breaking upon their lines like waves against the rocks.

There is no way to tell with all of the propagandists, but I suspect the above is the true dynamic at play.

 

That is simply nonsense. Russian tank crews en route to Kyiv did not carry their dress uniforms because they were expecting something other than a victory parade in Kyiv.
Claims of another primary objective were after-the-fact attempts to disguise Russian failure.

 

Fiction. You're accusing our government of being fascist on the basis of fiction, since it did not in any way loose the virus. But Trump did fail to take necessary measures to mitigate its spread early on, instead of claiming it was a hoax.

 

Putler's forces tried and failed to take Kyiv. They sent in saboteurs, assaulted airfields in a bid to establish LZs for more airborne troops near the city, and had a massive ground force on the way there, but all failed to achieve their objectives and that ground force, the column that ran out of gas (lol) was finally recalled.

Muscovy plays the information and propaganda game, hence the claims now that, essentially, they meant to do that. Of course they won't admit a massive failure on their part.

Putin was stopped just go back and review the number of Russians killed , number of Russian tanks, artillery, helicopters, fighter-bombers, equipment , armored troop carriers, etc that Ukrainianins destroyed in the first few months or weeks. I don't subscribe to the strategy of assuming my enemy is stupid. Using just 80k-100k troops to completely conquer and administer a country the size of Ukraine is ludicrous. There is just no way that was Putin's goal. It's far more likely that it's the goal Western leaders want their people to believe in order to downplay their reckless response.

 

They gave it their best shot at getting every human on the planet injected with the same experimental shot based on a novel MRNA technology. Their "best" included public shaming by celebrities, media, and political leaders, discrimination in public and medical services, encouraged discrimination in private services, mass firings/discharges, coordinating with big tech to censor anyone complaining about vaccine side effects or their policies in general, economic coercion of other nations in order to get them to do the same.

These people's hubris blinded them to the extreme danger to humanity of putting all of humanity's eggs in one basket by administering the same experimental medicine to EVERYONE. They acted like Fascists and should be arrested for the attempted murder of humanity.

 

And no, that wasn't the objective of MY claim. If I can figure out how to dig up years old posts, I'll show you the date at which I was saying Kiev wasn't the primary objective, and I was urging the Ukrainian military to move south. I remember when I said that, NO ONE was saying it, which is why I threw it out there.

But I kind of look at him as a tag along to a global vaccine orchestrated plan. Appearing to do nothing in the face of what the rest of the world was doing to "fight" Covid was politically risky.

Besides, at least the Russian vax was somewhat different. It's giving everyone on the planet exactly the same unproven medicine that is an extreme danger to humanity.

 

What the **** are you talking about? None of them were tested, it was all junk and Russia was just as bad. But their were more than 1 vaccine option. Pfizer, Moderna and the like.

Putin was misled by his intelligence services into believing the Ukrainians would not resist. Russia invaded with about 190,000 troops. Whether you call Putin "stupid" is a matter of word choice. He held deeply mistaken beliefs about Ukraine.

 

Kyiv was the primary objective at the outset. Period.

 

So after the catastrophic failure of the Russian's primary objective of capturing Kiev, within days they were able to reorganize to successfully attack on a hundreds of miles long front from Kherson to Mariuopal to Kharkiv, and hold almost all of that territory gained until present? If Kiev truly was the primary Russian objective, that's an amazing transition...

 

Ukraine expelled Russian forces from Kharkiv and Kherson.

 

Putin genuinely believed he could just walk in and take over like he did in Crimea in 2014. Their propaganda even openly declared as much.

Anti-Putin Russian fighters claim to destroy Russian ammunition and rocket launchers in Belgorod

The Freedom for Russia Legion on Thursday posted two videos featuring explosions geolocated by CNN inside Russia's Belgorod border region, claiming they had hit military targets.

The group of anti-Putin dissident fighters claimed one video shows the "detonation of ammunition and mortar of the enemy after a precise artillery work on them."

CNN has geolocated the video of an explosion to Shebekinsky District in Belgorod, but cannot verify the claim of a successful strike.

A second video posted by the legion said, "We continue to share the clear work of artillery: a column of Grad MLRS (BM-21) was destroyed on the march."

"Together with brothers from RVC [Russian Volunteer Corps] we continue to demilitarize Putin's army," it said, using the term (demilitarization) that the Kremlin has stated as one of its goals in the invasion of Ukraine.

Smoke is visible from the apparent point of impact in the video, but it is not clear if any Russian military hardware was hit.

The Freedom for Russia Legion said earlier Thursday it was near the border with Russia and the Russian Volunteer Corps claimed it was "fighting on Russian territory."

The Russian Defense Ministry said it had repelled three attacks by "Ukrainian terrorist groups" on Thursday.

Remember: In the past, the Ukrainian government has distanced itself from the Russian fighters, saying they are operating independently in Russia.

Likely Ukrainian partisans assassinated at least one Russian collaborator in occupied Zaporizhia Oblast on June 2. Zaporizhia Oblast occupation official Vladimir Rogov claimed that Ukrainian actors blew up the car of local businessman Sergey Didovodyuk in Myhailivka with a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), killing Didovodyuk and injuring two others.[44] Rogov claimed that Didovodyuk was active in the occupation political sphere and participated in preliminary voting for the ruling “United Russia” party. Ukrainian sources reported that Didovodyuk is the deputy chairperson of the “We are Together with Russia” collaborator movement, of which Rogov is the chair.[45] Ukrainian sources also reported that the attack killed Didovodyuk’s daughter, Mykhailivka occupation Civil-Military Administration Deputy Head Yana Didovodyuk, and injured the Mykhailivka occupation Civil-Military Administration Head Vyacheslav Bidnyak.

The Russian regular army apparently tried to ambush Wankers near Bakhmut, but failed at that as they do at everything else.
