Russian sources claimed that unidentified actors unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate an occupation official in Melitopol on June 14. Zaporizhia Oblast occupation deputy Vladimir Rogov claimed that an unknown person planted an improvised explosive device (IED) under the car of the head of the occupation department for the “Road Administration of Zaporizhia Oblast” near an apartment building in Melitopol.[56] Rogov reported that the owner of the car noticed the IED and reported it before it could detonate.[57] The Zaporizhia Oblast Occupation Investigative Committee opened a criminal case in response to the attempted attack.[58]

Ukrainian partisans reportedly sabotaged a railway in occupied Melitopol. The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on June 15 that Ukrainian partisans blew up a railway in northern Melitopol, derailing five train cars carrying iron ore on an unspecified date.[63] Ukrainian Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported on June 13 that an explosion in northern Melitopol damaged 50 meters of rail track, derailing a freight train carrying iron ore.[64] ISW has not observed any visual evidence or Russian corroboration of the attack or derailment.

Ukrainian partisans reportedly targeted a Russian ground line of communication (GLOC) in occupied Luhansk Oblast. Former Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast Head Serhiy Haidai reported that Ukrainian partisans scattered spikes on an unspecified section of the T1302 Starobilsk-Novopskov highway, damaging the wheels of four Russian vehicles.[61] ISW has not observed Russian corroboration of this report.

Fedorov reported that Ukrainian partisans sabotaged a section of the railroad connection near Melitopol.[40] The Ukrainian Southern Operational Command reported that Ukrainian forces struck Russian manpower concentration points in the Skadovsk and Kherson regions, and Ukrainian Kherson Oblast Military Administration Advisor Serhiy Khlan reported that Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian ammunition depot in Rykove, Henichesk Raion.[41] Kherson Oblast Occupation Head Vladimir Saldo claimed that Ukrainian forces launched missile strikes against Lazurne, Skadovsk Raion and Rykove.[42]

Russian sources claimed that a car carrying a Zaporizhia Oblast occupation official exploded in Simferopol, occupied Crimea on June 18. Zaporizhia Oblast occupation official Vladimir Rogov claimed that the gas tank of the assistant to the Zaporizhia Oblast occupation deputy prime minister, Vladimir Epifanov, exploded, injuring Epifanov and two other passengers.[43] Rogov claimed that the cause of the explosion is unknown but that unspecified actors inspected the gas tank on June 17, implying possible sabotage.

Crimean occupation head Sergey Aksyonov reported on June 21 that unspecified actors damaged a railway track near Feodosiya in southeastern Crimea.[80] The Ukrainian Resistance Center attributed the attack to the Atesh partisan movement and noted that the damage disrupted important railway logistics lines that run through the occupied Crimean Peninsula.[81]

The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported that Ukrainian partisans damaged a railway track in Kirovskyi Raion in occupied Crimea on June 27.[73] Russian occupation officials reported the damage to the railway but did not specify who caused the damage, and Russia’s Crimean Railway claimed that “unauthorized individuals” caused the damage.[74]

The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on July 15 that members of the Atesh partisan movement killed six Russian military personnel and destroyed two vehicles during an attack at an abandoned gas station in Velyki Kopani, Kherson Oblast.[113]

 

Ukrainians have to fight back and can't stop now, because if tht were to happen, Russia would wipe out what Ukraine has left and it would have Putin as a dictator. Putin started this war and he won't end it until he gets what he wants and he takes control of Ukraine, and is the dictator. The Ukrainian people that remain would be prisoners of Putin's dictatorship. Ukraine must keep putting the pressure on Russia and put it hard. Simple as that.
