It is typical of a leftist to point to an exception, and imply that it should be the rule. We should govern ourselves according to the exception.
Tell me dairyair....just how many hermaphrodites have you made the acquaintance of in your life time? What percentage of them are there among the worlds population? Now that being a big concern of yours, and looking out for their "special rights" and incorporating that into our "civil rights", have you studied any causes for that rare condition? So to make hermaphrodites feel at home in this world should we all pretend to be "gender neutral"? That seems like it might be an accommodating leftist solution. We certainly want to dismiss any absolute values, don't we now?

I would add that I like the fact women do not go shirtless. We hold them on a pedestal. We are not animals that demand "immediate gratification". It leaves certain things up to the imagination and gives us things to look forward to. Men can go shirtless all day long in my opinion, that is unless they have moobs.

and I think most would agree with you, I do

we see many tribes that have never covered up not see it as a issue, but today's society does

I do see how technically it's discrimination though, so if someone actually fought it with a good argument, it could change

As a culture, I would see it as a regression.

as would many, including myself, but if it happened in 100 years it could be the new norm - I do not support women going topless in public, just sating my opinion on what could happen if the change happened

Letting women decide to go topless is a good way of discriminating between which women should be held up on a pedestal. It's how the muslims do it. Any woman who goes out showing her hair in public is to be categorized separately from women who wear burkas.

Any chick that wants to walk around with her tits hanging out is... well, I've seen it before. At first it's like "is that old lady showing her old lady boobs?* and then it's just old lady boobage not even worth a second glance.

Or like those nat geo features of tribal african women with their boobs hanging out. After two pictures in, and you start not caring.

The argument really isn't whether or not a girl should be allowed to join a boys team, but rather, whether or not it should stop being a boys team and just become a mixed team. I actually think there's an argument to be had here with these types of stories. If a school only has a team for one gender and they want to remain committed, then they face hot water. I just don't think that a team can be called a boys team anymore if it is no longer all male. And I also don't think that the competition that they play in can be called a male competition if it isn't all male - so surely it isn't just a matter for the school whose team it is, but also the governing body which governs the local competition.

..Indeed, more Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asians Americans, female Americans, and younger, better-educated Americans aligning with the Democratic Party results it its being far more diverse than is the Republican Party.

That is the demographic plight in an increasingly diverse America that a Republican senator bemoaned when he observed, "We're not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business for the long term!"

I am saying the same thing, do we as a society support this discrimination or not, it's become accepted by most, I believe some will fight it, but unless they start suing and winning, I do not think we will see any changes

it's like the airlines wanting to offer smoking flights to those that wanted them, once they were sued and lost... they stopped offering the service even though prior to that it was accepted by society

when people lose $$$ they change, it just depends on how these cases go

So are you still wondering why the Republican party has less of these groups in its ranks? Also, you missed this post: http://www.politicalforum.com/index...amed-‘equality.556020/page-13#post-1070616180

There is no reason for you to wonder about it. It is obvious why far more Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asians Americans, female Americans, and younger, better-educated Americans are aligning with the Democratic Party. That broader range of growing demographics in America have concluded that they are better represented by it. They are the Democratic Party as much as any other demographic in it.

The claim that "Every House Democrat Voted To Crush The Dreams Of Women Athletes With The Ironically-Named ‘Equality Act’," is laughable. There are 102 women in Congress (89D, 13R) and a white, male Republican proclaims that every Democratic woman serving in Congress is crushing the dreams of women?

Sure, but I'm saying that it can be won by discussion within the schooling system. No need for courts.

Yes, your desperate attempt at diversion was ignored.

    but what about OBAMA?"
President Obama served the two terms to which he was elected with over 51% of the popular vote, and completed them with 60% approval.
Under the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution, he was not eligible to serve a third term.
