The fact that replacing retirees and resignations already being funded doesn't raise an eyebrow with you :) Might ask yourself how many agents the IRS actually needs with today's computers? Then again, we could just simplify the entire system with a flat tax, right? But why, when you can funnel 87 billion tax dollars, and create 10's of thousands of new taxpayer burdens with payroll/Medical and eventually a hefty government retirement we the taxpayers will be saddled with..

    DP Politics 101:

    1. Take Money from the Opposition's Base.

As if the U.S. grubmint isn't bloated enough, then when they add even more bloat over streamlining the left cheer :hmm:

    I agree

In the United States, a recession is defined by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) as "a significant decline in economic activity spread across the market, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales".

Remember this old saying, "I've never been hired by poor people".

A serious opposition party in power would apply DP Politics 101 to the DP -- with a vengeance.

Ah yes, those were the guys that conveniently re-defined inflation indicators just so ByDummy wouldn't look so bad and the left just watch's like deer in a headlight :)

For every 5 retirees and resignations would allow one person to be hired to replace them. That's the problem and that is the current budget that has been ongoing since 2012.

Has anyone analyzed why the IRS would need 87000 new agents?

So pay scales never kept up over time?

BULLSHIT! I know many working at the city/county/state and fed level and they do just fine, and they certainly received pay increase far greater than today's SSI recipients have gotten over the years..

They increased over time. A GS 5 was a pay scale of $5000 per year back in the 1930s.

The way pay scales work included both vertically and horizontally, plus an additional amount with locality pay and differentials with pay, such as nighttime pay, Sunday pay, holiday, pay, etc. There are different pay scales from general service, GS, to law enforcement to executive pay scales. OPM manages them all.

There's more security in continuing government waste when your job depends on it.

I think it's those "job creators" who shipped US jobs to China, Mexico, etc thanks to Reaganomics

But thanks for not even attempting to refute my posit

    DEMAND CREATES JOBS
