So what city and state are you in? Or any city or your favorite city, least favorite city, etc. If you do that, I can give you the max GS 15 pay scale for that location. That would be GS 15, step 10.

The horizontal is the length of time at that pay scale. Steps one through three or yearly, steps 4 through 7 are every two years, and step 8 through 10 are every three years, if you stayed at GS 15 the whole time.

The other thing is that IRS jobs range from pay scales of GS 4 to GS 15. GS 15 are specialized Internal Revenue Agents who may be at the HIll on the House Ways and Means Committee or subject matter experts of a particular tax discipline. Most Revenue Agents who start out are GS 7 with full regular employment at GS 12. Customer Service Reps are GS 5 through 8. And so forth.

Yes it shows those parts that they use to determine a recession, it used those definitions under the Orange Stain, like it says, 2019

You're going to hurt my feelings :)

If YOU make a posit., they changed it to protect Biden, I just showed you it was the same definition under Diaper Don in 2019. Comprehension issues?

Yes the date on their website, 2019, shows their definition was pre Biden, the guy who got 7+ million more votes than the Orange Stain :)

    "ButterBalls said:
Did they or didn't they do just that last month?"

Your previous assertion. Now since I showed you that your assertion they changed it for Biden, was wrong, you'll go to your next talking point?

    Bravo

Did they or didn't they re-define the parameters as to what constitutes recession?

Replacing retirees/resignations is not "already being funded" - that's precisely the problem, and has been for decades. And that's why replacing them is a key component of the 87,000 recruitment plan.

Not all metro areas in the US have a locality pay adjustment. All I am asking for is a major city that you want me to look up for a GS 15 maximum pay. I am just letting you decided which major city and I will provide the maximum pay, which may or may not include a locality adjustment.

NO, NBER, the people who say when a recession is, and the parameters of it, haven't changed. Like I showed you a link from 2019, when the Orange Stain was in office

You need not ask to link examples.. The point is, IRS and all grubmint employee's have received pay increases thought the years :)

This is the nonsense I'm faced with :)
Now there is some of that top shelf leftwing arithmatricks :) So we are to believe replacements are going to be paid MUCH more than those resigning and those retiring. You really expect me to take that sort of hogwash seriously :)

You could apply some common sense. If the plan were to audit those earning more than $400K then doubling the size of the IRS wouldn't be necessary. The current size would be adequate. I see a lot of reports that the incomes of those people all added up aren't close to enough to meet the goals of the legislation. What is required is auditing the massive general poplulation. That is actually where most of the income is. 2+2=4.

Care to point to ANYTHING credible that backs up your assertion?

    How the IRS Was Gutted
An eight-year campaign to slash the agency’s budget has left it understaffed, hamstrung and operating with archaic equipment. The result: billions less to fund the government. That’s good news for corporations and the wealthy.

New OMB-CEA Report: Billionaires Pay an Average Federal Individual Income Tax Rate of Just 8.2%
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/brie...deral-individual-income-tax-rate-of-just-8-2/

For the first time in history, U.S. billionaires paid a lower tax rate than the working class last year

It finds that in 2018, the average effective tax rate paid by the richest 400 families in the country was 23 percent, a full percentage point lower than the 24.2 percent rate paid by the bottom half of American households.

In 1980, by contrast, the 400 richest had an effective tax rate of 47 percent. In 1960, that rate was as high as 56 percent.

The effective tax rate paid by the bottom 50 percent, by contrast, has changed little over time.
