How did they "hack" in? You mean paid to post something right? How is that different than putting something on TV?

They posted more memes? They uncovered more democrat fraud and obstruction? Did they get Cortez elected to show the world the fools that the left will put on for elections?

Never heard about the Pope Francis one. Pizzagate I didn't follow. Hillary, who has stated she loves the eugenics enthusiast Margret Sanger, probably isn't that far off from the 3rd term abortion mark. But, then again, that's very negligible. I don't watch FNC so I don't know if they have covered this.

    Russian collusion.

So you don't have anything. You downplay the seriousness of the fake articles leveled at Clinton to dissuade voters and stoke anger, and fall back on Russia Collusion.

    Wow.

    You're not being honest.

No they didn't. Trump and Putin met for over 2 hours. 2 translators were there the whole time. Are you a translator? Each had their foreign ploicy people for part of the time. Are you a foreign policy adviser?

When Obama unleashed his intelligence organization to spy on and frame the Trump transition, and when they manufactured the Russian collusion conspiracy theory, they made it very difficult for the new administration to carry out foreign policy wrt to Russia. Trump was 100% right in his comment and it's self evident.. If Russia had a goal of undermining confidence in our Democratic institutions, the temper tantrum that has consumed the whole Democratic Party since losing the election has done more than Putin could have dreamed to do.

Since you've apparently never worked in the business world and probably have only negotiated a trip to the Welfare office, you probably wouldn't know that negotiations are usually conducted behind closed doors. Since you've apparently never managed anyone or anything but a trip to the mailbox to pick up your ebt card, you wouldn't know that when you want to change someone's behavior, the last thing you want to do is publicly attack their ego by scolding them.

I give Trump alot of credit for using his leadership skills knowing full well he would be attacked by ignorant fools who have a microphone but no clue.

I'm guessing the guy who armed himself and went into the Chicago Pizzeria to free the children being held captive for sexual exploitation's by the Clinton's knew. Pretty much any one else it was probably more subliminal. You know, why did the guy down the street buy a Honda instead of a Toyota type of thing.

So basically you are agreeing with my previous statement that democrats are so malleable they allowed random messages on Facebook to reverse their political position and change their vote to Donald Trump and you refute the possibility that Hillary Clinton stabbing Bernie Freeshit Sanders squarely in the back had nothing to do with so many democrats feeling their own party screwed them and decided to switch their vote to Jill Stein, Donald Trump, or just not bother to vote.
But, if it is trolling that has you so upset, look inward because most of the usual suspects here spend their entire day posting negatives about Trump mostly gleaned from "reliable?" sources like the NYT and The Washington Post.

I can help you, change your daily regimen from sparing and bantering here and turn it towards convincing your fellow democrats to close their twitter and facebook accounts.

A great start to a fresh outlook on 2024.

I didn't down play anything, just saying I didn't pay attention to those stories. If you think that's what swayed voters, is there proof that those stories came from Russian operatives?

And yes, CNN is still pushing "Russian collusion", while all those stories you have mentioned are pretty much dead. There is zero evidence Trump colluded.

I absolutely think it swayed voters. To say it didn't is nonsense. A lot of it was pushed by Breitbart and a coalition of right wing operatives that reported nonsense. Some of it was absolutely published by fake news outlets with direct ties to Russia. That's fact, it's public record now.

Trump hired people with illicit ties to Ukraine and Russian agents. Of course there is speculation he colluded. He called on Russia, even hyperbolically, to get Hillary's emails. He then fired the FBI director and has used Twitter to leverage daily assaults on Mueller, basically. I wouldn't say he colluded without evidence - but I think frankly he is digging his own grave with his big mouth.

Cute, but in reality there's no collusion and no one is seemingly capable or willing to interfere in this fright train which is the greatest humiliation ever for the DOJ. That's because no one who is in position to do so understands the egg they have on their face. The DOJ has become the Department of Rumors.

Rumors are not evidence of a criminal activity, the inability to collaborate said rumors means you shouldn't prosecute. The people will keep tabs on the spending of Robert Mueller, for we demand our money back.

Citation needed. Where are the charges against Breitbart and these other right wing operations that would clearly have been in bed with Russians if they really were following the marching orders of another country to subvert our election? Ill wait.

And BTW, the only group to take money from the Russians to spread propaganda was facebook. I want Mark in prison for spreading fake news and colluding with the Russians.

So, no collusion charges been brought by the FBI, just CNN reports you follow. Cool. I will wait for the official word from law enforcement about what evidence they Have on Trump.

BTW, when you are an international business man, you have connections to just about every country, that's not proof of collusion.

    Basically.

He did not see it as his job to police his platform. Nor was he required to do so.

The Russians got as far as they got because they were taking advantage of an open format that was not policed in any way.

It isn't policed now, except by the executives that own it. And that policing has a lot more to do with preserving the brand, than it is in preserving US national security.

Obama did not expose the Russian effort because everyone thought that Clinton was going to win, and there would be plenty of time to run down the culprits after the election (Trump or no Trump). Mitch McConnell did his part by threatening to make it a partisan election issue, the national security be damned.

Meanwhile the evidence continued to be grow and was increasingly reported in the media.

But Trump squeaked by, and he immediately made it clear that there would be no investigation and no countermeasures.

Which is where we are now. Only since Trump's humiliation in Helsinki (or more accurately, the world's reaction to Trump's weakness) that there has been any rhetoric from the Administration about doing something about Russian interference.

It remains to be seen whether there is any meat to this noise. With Trump there usually isn't.

Basically, this attack succeeded is the same reason 9/11 succeeded. No one thought either attack was plausible until after it happened.

It's not a ******ned rumor that Russia interfered in our election. Collusion is just a single PIECE of the investigation. You guys need to get your ****ing facts straight.

The US Government can't do what facebook is doing, without looking like Communist China. And if we had taken China's approach to internet censorship, you'd complain a whole new can of worms. The worst thing that could have happened, is confirmation of Russian 'interference'. And while Clapper tried to reassert that the American voter isn't to blame, the damage has already been done.

This stuff should've been classified, behind the scenes and dealt with then. Saying in public "we know what you're doing" has had no deterrence on Russian nefarious activities. It has however spiraled out of control domestically in America.

If the goal is to aid Putin in sowing chaos in the political sphere, the establishment intelligence community and the left have made that possible.

You need reading comprehension skills. He didn't deny Russian interference. That's obvious because FB took money from them to post memes. The point is, no proof of Trump colluding with Russia exists.

It is true that no one knows what Trump and Putin talked about in private. Our own government ,and none of the White House staff, or any of our allies (who may or may not be subject of those discussions) have any idea.

This is dangerous, as we saw right after the summit.

The Russians owned the bully pulpit. While the White House sat silent, the Russians publicly claimed that Trump had agreed to hand over state department officials to the Russian secret police and that the US military would coordinate with the Russians in the consolidation of their client state in Syria. No response at all from the White House.
    '
But Trump didn't like the way the world reacted to his idiotic and weak performance. So he told Bolton to go invite Putin to Washington.

Putin didn't respond at all for several days.

Then they said no, which left the White House floating the obvious spin line that they wanted to wait until after the "witch hunt" was over.

Putin immediately upended that bit of spin by inviting Trump to Moscow.

Putin has been trolling Trump for a month now.

And the only people on the planet who don't see it are the Trumpsters.

They 'interfered' in the way we 'interfere' by talking to each other on this forum(actually, much less than that. It seems they limited themselves exclusively to the ads.). In the end, we still made our electoral choices and as many intelligence community members stood under oath to say: There's no way to verify or prove that the facebook ads, or twitter bots could have possibly influenced US voting.

'Collusion' is the biggest part of this whole mess. The DOJ has shamed itself, disgraced itself and in so doing has humiliated every one of us. And Rosenstein stands singularly responsible for what he has done to the department.

Uh, it was classified and handled behind the scenes. How do you suggest we should have delt with it?

Out of one side of your mouth, you're saying that this is what should have happened. Out of the other, you're describing that as some secret conspiracy launched by Obama to destroy Trump after an election he wasn't supposed to win.

Breitbart spewed random, factless nonsense and smeared Clinton at every turn.

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...tes-fake-news-bots-donald-trump-a7641826.html

    Read the article.

Look at Clinton's Cash. The absolute smear across multiple platforms. Breitbart pushed the nonsense, Russia smeared it all over FB and other sordid outlets.

I don't follow CNN. I also don't make claims like "Hey, Russia, get her emails" and then expect there to not be a potential issue. And like I said above - I won't say he colluded without evidence. But one of his biggest draws is his big ****ing mouth, something his supporters seem to refuse to state is also a detriment. Donald brought this on himself.

Who ****ing cares? What point is there to this? There was never a left wing conspiracy to destroy Donald Trump, not like there was for the Clintons. Bannon, Scaife, Mercer, etc. A hollow coeterie if ever there was one, assembled and armed and ready to go to war with yellow journalism and smear tactics against Clinton - hence the claim of a vast right wing conspiracy - turned out to be true after all.

If Trump colluded, he colluded. If he didn't, he didn't. At the end of the day, though, an alarming trend of fake news, the real stuff, like Hillary wants to abort full term babies, is influencing our electorate. Those are domestic threats and they need to be dealt with. To top it off, foreign governments are using assets tied to their highest offices to sow malcontent and discord.

To me, if Trump colluded, the gig is up. If he didn't, so what. Russia still acted, Trump or otherwise, and something -must- be done about it.

No, it isn't. You yourself called for this investigation.

And yes, jesus ****ing Christ, an endless stream of vitriol and hate flung all over the face of the Clintons by Breitbart and a coalition of right wing activists absolutely skewered the electorate. You're being NAIVE to insist negative ads have "no effect" on the electorate.

That's the biggest ****ing problem I have with Trump sympathizers. Your inability to think outside the wind tunnel of Trump's hysteria, your inability to see how this entire thing impacts the nation, and your inability to see how collusion isn't even the ****ing point.

And my point is collusion doesn't matter. What's good for the nation is finding out what happened and stopping it. That's the biggest issue I have with you lot - your singular wind tunnel focus. It's preposterously naïve and childish.

Except it's not really a conspiracy, as Peter Strzok made perfectly clear through his texts and testimony. There were senior officials in the entire intelligence community, who loathed the President. Comey withheld pertinent information from the President, and gave the entirety of said information to a media source. If that's not insubordination, what is?

It's clear that the intelligence community conflated two things: Russian attempts to interfere in the election, with their 'collusion' gambit. As a result, what would be a united front is now dispersed among political sides, and in Trump's personal view about 'the legitimacy of his victory'.

And now, since apparently no material evidence exists as of now(and let's be honest, 2 years into this with Comey/Mueller. And with the crux of the hacking case charged without indicting a member of the Trump campaign in cohoots with it). the DOJ doesn't want to admit that it has egg on its face.

Because the DOJ is aware of what steps are going to be taken next. The DOJ has become the Department of Rumors. Once that fact is materialized for even the simplest of us, Congress will pass laws restricting DOJ activity. We will have to forcibly redirect the department to its original stated mission of finding the truth, of finding collaborated evidence in cases and in being authentic in our courtrooms.

The DOJ had been mostly unregulated, because we thought their trustiworthiness was beyond dispute. This sad saga, has proven differently. When we see the conviction rate for the FBI go down, it's obvious that this problem of following perceptions instead of evidence had been apparent within the department for some time.

Only now that it targeted a US Person(Page) and the POTUS, it's a serious matter. I look forward to seeing the reform proposals out of Congress when we consciously get to that point. For starters, abolishing the FISA Court.

What happened is Tony Podesta clicked a phishing link. Get a computer training class for the DNC. None of this requires the DOJ's assistance.
