FBI Drone Captures Moment Of LaVoy Finicum’s Death

No, that picture does not show anything "very well." It shows Rice with his toy gun in a horizontal position and a large gray oval covering...something, to the right of him. What is behind the oval? Is it a person? Is that person standing in the same plane as Rice's toy is pointing? If it is a person, why is their image censored? You can't make out anyone's identity in that (*)(*)(*)(*)-poor video, and generally when someone's identity is hidden in a photo, the face is blurred, not the entire body. Where did that picture come from, why is it edited, and is there an unedited copy? Beyond that, what would your point be exactly? Is one child pointing a toy at another child reason for the police to come shoot that child after the fact, especially when the police wouldn't even be aware that it happened to begin with?

Reading your text is what made it obvious that you were being dishonest. I stated that Rice did not pull the toy gun out when police arrived. In response to my assertion, your first words were, "looked like he had the gun out to me," followed by a picture of Rice with the toy in hand well before the police were on the scene. I'm sure you also know that the video shows Rice with hands empty when the police came skidding in from the right like a couple of drunken cowboys.

The surveillance video. It shows Rice with nothing in his hands when the cops came blazing in. At this point, I'm actually wondering if you've even watched the video? Are you saying that he didn't have the toy in his pants? If so, then you're calling the cops liars (I won't argue) because they said that the toy was in his pants when they pulled up to the gazebo. You don't seem to know or care what actually transpired. You just know that it was "a clean shoot" as you keep saying as if you were a character on some cop show. It's pretty pathetic.

The fact is that the cops were negligent and reckless and killed an innocent child as a result. The only reason they aren't in jail is because they're cops and cops are rarely held responsible for their actions.

 

Why would a person willing to die put his hands up?

 

criminals do that all the time, they are cowards, that is why they do not want to go to prison...... they are scared of Prision

raising ones hands is to give them time to think, look for escape routes, how many have guns pointed on you... ect...... basically it's just to buy some time

but wait, you guys said he was willing to die, now you have him looking for escape routes.......by putting his hands in the air. Oh well looks like we just need the audio to make sure he wasnt given a command that he was following when he was shot then everything will be all set. When do you think the fbi will supply the audio?

 

we did not say his first choice was death, he was a coward, he was looking for a way out, death was a last resort

I hope they have copcams and release them.... and remember, everyone in the car should be charged with his death... that is the way it works now

I've read that the FBI normally doesn't use the 'copcams'...but it was the OR State Troopers who gunned him down.

Finicum was facing the camera, he had his hands up @ first, then he dropped his hands, (he was wearing gloves, and when he first dropped his hands, he took his gloves off and put them in his left hand.)...and then he had his back to the camera, he reached into his left pocket, and then extended his right hand, and you can see the gun against the white of the snow, just for a second. Then it appeared that he was trying to (*)(*)(*)(*) [cck] it, or maybe trying to take the safety off. (It seems unlikely, but maybe Finicum finally realized that he WAS about to be shot, changed his mind and put the pistol back into his left pocket.)
