You missed the point. Let me reiterate. Who ordered this to stay secret and why is the FBI, the WH and the DOJ not answering the press's questions? Doesn't the public have the right to know?

This allows Biden to state, truthfully, that the FBI searched his home and didn't find any classified documents. After that claim it would be up to someone in the media to clarify which home he was talking about but CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and most of the others certainly won't do that.

 

You haven't explained at all. Why are CD found at the residence of a private citizen any less important than those found at a politician's home?

Biden likely kept documents that were guarded by attorney client privilege, so he had his lawyer there to verify things got packed up in the correct boxes.
