I've never had a problem getting women, so this kind of carrot just doesn't do it for me.

Them women in Wahhabi society always reminds me of the orthodox Jewish male society.
Them orthodox jews, always in the same black outfit, bullying women out of public places.

And I spot you're still posting vids from that extremist Jewish hate group.
    Excellent.

The is a famous Shia.. from Saudi Arabia.. and a very fine man.

Saudi men don't wear black and they don't bully women in public places.

It takes a certain amount of grace to wear an abaya... I have never worn one.. I'd break my neck..

Underneath they may be wearing fashion from Milan or jeans.

Correct, they wear beige and similar and bully women behind closed doors. But that's Ok because if you are a Saudi with slaves in London, diplomatic immunity will ensure you won't get prosecuted.

A few years back a Saudi beat his newscaster wife and ended up in prison..

Women do have recourse.. and they also have brothers and fathers.

A high % of women get beat up like that anywhere in the world.
And here you go and display it as something exceptional.

    Try and curb the ignorance.

The Saudi culture is so foreign to Westerners that it takes a good bit of time to get used to it.. Even as an adult I sometimes had to suspend belief until I could get it.. For instance.. I was dressed to go to a large women's party and I was very excited.. I asked my translator what these women were like .. and he looked at me very strangely.. He said: I don't know any women except my sisters and aunts.

I like the Saudis.. always have.

Yes... they do have pretty things.. SAKS has come out with a new line of Abayas.

Sure, but it's not systematic. Big difference.

I was particularly referring to domestic abuse and slavery which is systematic.

Of course it isn't. You are in denial.

There is no slavery in KSA..

Women have a great deal of power over the purse strings and the house.

If you don't beat your wife, why would you assume that is systematic among Muslims?

A little off topic (but that never stopped 'us,' huh, Margot ha ha)

My co. was putting in the roadside telephone system in Saudi during the 70's, and we had some folks over there in the ARAMCO compound (little USA for Americans). Had a young, single, cocky, studly friend who went there to get rich ($100K/yr tax free) and tried to cut in to their DMV line by offering a Saudi national some $. He got turned in and spent 9 mos in a Saudi jail. He came back to the states a humble, quiet, broken man who wouldnt talk about what happened to him while in that jail!

    Really? I am surprised..

The problem in the 1970s is that foreign nationals out numbered Saudis.. because of the development going on for one of those 5 year plans. That's when the Muttaween first appeared on the scene.

I am sorry for your young friend.. I never knew an American to get into trouble in KSA.. Well, that's not entirely true.. but when they did .. they were deported in a flash.

For a Saudi man to beat his wife would indicate that he was weak.

It took the US Govt that long to get him out! And again, being a smart mouth he probably made it worse.

I also had an opportunity to go over there, but had a wife & kid and couldnt leave them for a 1 yr tour (late 70's)

Not because I say so but the UK media who regularly report what is the tip of a very large ice-berg. Domestic slavery is endemic within Saudi diplomatic circles here in London.
