I don't mean to overstep but my advice would be to:
a. get something in writing and
b. remove any clauses that apply numerical absolutes and instead offer to negotiate a slow release with no upper limit.
Without that I believe he's not actually offering a genuine upgrade to your current contract, just suggesting you speak faster in order to get better value from per minute costings.

Indeed some domestic helpers are treated unfairly. But many are treated with respect and dignity. All our maids were treated as if they were members of the family.
