    3. The Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 is the act which gives the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) authority to sue in federal courts when it finds reasonable cause to believe that there has been employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. In the case of public employment, the EEOC refers the matter to the United States Attorney General to bring the lawsuit.

I would rather see them build a museum than burn down their own cities and put themselves out of a job.

Don't know or care what the reaction would be to a "white people's museum," mainly because this museum here is not about you. There is a Native American museum in the area, too, so where's your self righteous outrage on that?

Yes, please do educate us on what is the "right" way to protest. I'd love to hear what you have decided on what constitutes a "right" kind of protest.

And just so you know, protests aren't about your comfort or feelings.

And yet that still got him a bullet in the head.

And then people rioted afterwards. And for good reason.

But whites don't need to end their hatred of blacks? Spoken like a true racist especially one who describes Oakland as "CRAWLING" with BLACKS...

Ya know, instead of spending a life Off Topic, why don't you visit the museum ?....warning: You may find blacks are just as human as whites....

Hiya, Foxy. Ready to "cross swords" again...?

If you meant "supremacy" then write, "supremacy", which has both different connotations and denotations than "supreme". I made up a little saying several years ago you may want to ruminate on... "Language is thought."

Anyway, just out of the blandest of curiosity, "white jealousy"...? Whites should be jealous of Blacks because of ____________ (fill in the blank). Whatever could that be? Athletic prowess?

[IMG]. "No kidding, I'm a Negro, and, Whitey pays me millions to play a game. But I HATE this country!" :spin:

    Good post and true..

..but racists hate history because it blows all their ignorant racist beliefs out of the water...and racist feel safe when they can hold their beliefs so they spout crap about this museum that they will never visit , they haven't read anything about it, except it has "Black" in the title, enough to set them off on a jealous racist fit of hate :)

I wonder what they are so afraid of........maybe it's that they'll find out that being white doesn't make you superior to anyone.....and that was the ONLY thing they could feel superior about and it was an accident of birth :)

Slavery was irrelevant in the northern states and that's where 80% of the economic activity was.

New York alone produced 4x as many goods as all of the South combined.

No, slaves didn't do all the work. Go read some history.

That is an incredibly stupid and fallacious statement.

But then again, I have found that many racists' identification of what they consider racist is pretty damn ignorant to begin with. Chalk up another one.

    As I said, so predictable.

I have found that haters have entrenched attitudes that are impervious to fact and reason while being highly susceptible to fiction and fallacy that support the object of their hate.

Like morons that think that a national museum of african american history is some sort of racist anti-white statement.

You only care about a white power museum only because an African-American one is here, I doubt you'd mention that if no museum was being built.

You don't seem to share such rage against a Native american museum a few blocks away, I notice.

no, I would care regardless if the other was there, you see, I am not a racist, I do not support racists museums... period

is the other museum paid for by the tax payers, then yes I care...... now if they are preserving artifacts or something that is different, they may as well store many artifacts there though, not just native Americans

I would be just as against a Salem Witch Trials museum paid for by the tax payers to put in the mall

    it's just silly

I am also against native Americans and Amish getting to have tax free lands for their groups, but others not getting the same, I am for equal rights for all

I am also against only the native Americans being allowed to practice the Peyote religion, religious freedom should apply to all regardless of race

Good thing there aren't any. Because that would be bad.

This here tells me you've likely never set foot in a museum in your life. Which is pitiful.

Anyway, that one's been around since 2004. Not my fault you never knew about it.

And for something else to look up:

And if they did, so what?

    Well good for you.

I get a kick out of these types of replies.

So much fun to play with.

Since you decided I am the expert on right way, though I gave the wrong way, sure sparky, I will try to give what is a good example.

I lauded Dr. King as doing it the right way. And they erect statues to him and gave him a national day. Think Colin will get a national day over kneeling?

I see you are conversant with the art of projection. I am often amused by what the witless consider wit. Do you consider your response witty?
