    It didn't stop it, but it slowed it down. We would've succeeded even more with a half competent governor in NY. Instead we have the bumbling fool the New Yorkers elected. Well, they got the representation they wanted.

    That was the purpose of the ban-to slow the transmission of the disease in the US.

    Thats also the reason for the 2 week isolation precautions were are going through now.

    He made it worse with his kneejerk response.
    Fewer than 8,000 Chinese were traveling to the US a month.
    Over 8,000 US citizens flocked back in just 3 airports the day after his announcement.
    No testing whatsoever for those people. Not even the kind that backed up the European returns waiting in our airports to get their temperature taken. Another woopie.

    For some reason I thought you were better informed.

    I don't have a problem with cutting off imports from China. It's just that the way it was done made it worse.
    Ask the CDC that question the next time you talk to them.
