I am pretty sure I am more involved with OWS than you are.

I have written code to unify their communication networks over livestream. http://occupystream.com/

I have set guidelines for OWS protesters to protect themselves which have been disseminated to all General Assemblies... For example, one beat down that did not get any press was the vet who was trying to leave a protest location where he disagreed with the actions of the protesters... walking back to the camp site alone encountered police trying to corral him back to the group who was damaging a building. Refusing he was beaten badly and arrested. He was refused medical treatment in jail despite the excruciating pain he was in due to a ruptured spleen (well... he was seen by a nurse who gave him a laxative... which may have caused him to bleed out if he had taken it). Once released he went to the ER for emergency treatment which likely saved his life. Because of this circumstance it was my recommendation that whenever travelling to make sure you move in a group with a lead and follow cam, be that 2 or 200 people, and that lead and follow be at a far enough distance to be able to get away, but close enough to stream.

I also set guidelines which were voted down, to video people doing anything forbidden by the GA and submit that footage to the PD for investigation to help clean up their image. To police their own.

I also moderate 3 larger movement livestream chats. I do not care to say which.

You're absolutely right! Until I went and met with people in person, my judgments based on both - based on what the MSM showed me, were pretty harsh. Firtunatley I am open-minded and independent. So my judgments of both are now based on personal experience.

How do you explain away the rapes, attacks on police, attacks on reporters that we have all seen? Are you claiming they don't exist because you personally have not seen them?

I have noticed a few things I find noteworthy.
NY is not an actual American Flag. There are 12 stripes, the middle red one being huge.

That first flag... at Denver... that is a 48 star flag (1912–1959)... and it WAS in really nice shape... which leads me to believe... it is probably a coffin flag... the flag presented to loved ones at a military funeral. It has probably been folded for a very long time... and that makes me very sad.

 

Look at those unpatriotic savages. The police or National Guard need to go Kent State on all their asses.

Even more! There are STILL a lot of people like that in the mix! I agree with you about that!

So someday, when you're not afraid to do so, maybe you can address the various issues discussed in the OP, rather than run away, change the subject etc... But again and as has been posted half a dozen times, I'm not holding my breath. Fear, combined with the necessity of intelligent discussion, seems to be a powerful deterrent to Conservatives here.

You have little knowledge of the origins by your own admission above, so don't expect to arrive late and tell others, or assign fear and lack of intelligent discussion to those who have been monitoring OWS much more thoroughly then, and now.
