The reason they retain their clearances is that they continue working behind the scenes with new administration members to bring in their expertise and historical knowledge to help in any way possible. Ending their clearances also effectively ends their valuable help.

But Trump is actually getting rid of everyone who has had any part in the Russia probe. By ending their secret clearances, he effectively cuts them off from the governmental records they helped amass, that shows the road Trump and his minions took working with the Russians. Trump is getting rid of the witnesses for the prosecution against him. This has never been done by a U.S. President before, but is common behavior for despotic tyrants and dictators around the world. Trump supporters are too loyal and/or too stupid to see the danger Trump poses to their own freedoms.

What were those "American citizens" doing in Yemen? Were they joining in with Muslim terrorist groups there? Just curious.

You don't seem to understand. If they wanted to kill Uncle Bin, 4 or 5 smart bombs would have leveled the compound taking him out. If they wanted him alive, then they failed miserably and handed China the stealth technology we spent untold millions on in the process. Do you see that as a victory and the people that did it as hero's? If you do please explain why. The only hero's are seal team 6 who went boots on the ground, the planners are zero's.

It's just common sense, which appears to be lacking on the left. We were able to verify the deaths of American citizens Anwar al-Awlaki and his 16 year old American citizen son, death by drone in Yemen.

You don't need to be a General to know they screwed up.

They couldn't do that, they had to take a picture of Bin Laden's body.

Otherwise, the conspiracy theorists (like you ?) would have denied that the work would have been done.

You would come out better banging your head on a wall:wall:, than trying to explain how it works to some of these folks who don't have a clue.

The picture was worth millions in stealth technology handed over to the Chi-Coms? That makes no sense at all. Your argument is obviously outta gas.

If you apply yourself properly, you will surely one day succeed in turning the assassination of Bin Laden as a failure of the Obama administration.

Kris “Tanto” Paronto, a former Army Ranger and private security contractor who was part of the CIA team that fought back during the 2012 Benghazi terror attack, accused Brennan of putting his “politics” before those in the field.

Responding to Brennan’s tweet that his “principles are worth far more than clearances,” Paronto also tweeted:

“My principles are greater than clearances too John, especially when you and the @CIA kool-aid drinkers punishes us for not going along with the Benghazi cover-up story in order to protect you, @HillaryClinton’s & @BarackObama’s failures. You put your politics before us.”

Then Robert O’Neill, the SEAL Team 6 member who killed bin Laden, respectfully disagreed with whatMcRaven said.

“I have nothing but respect and love for ADM McRaven. Yes I’ve seen this. We simply disagree,” O’Neill tweeted with a link to McRaven’s op-ed.

But O’Neill reserved a Twitter burn for former Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes, who touted the ex-CIA director’s involvement in the killing of the 9/11 mastermind in 2011.

“John Brennan was the point person for the Obama White House on the operation that killed Osama bin Laden. He knows a lot more about defending our nation than someone who uses security clearances to punish his political adversaries,” Rhodes tweeted.

O’Neill responded: “Actually, @brhodes, 23 conservatives went after UBL. No offense, in case you were wondering.”

It's what the guys in the trenches think that really matters.

The failure was losing millions is stealth technology to the Chi-Coms so Obama could have a trophy picture of dead Uncle Bin instead of just dropping 4 smart bombs.

If he is perfectly OK with what Brennan did with this Russian Dossier, Id say his security clearance probably needs to be revoked.

It was kick to the stomach to see McRaven spew this BS.

One of my recent favorite inspirational speech's was the one McRaven gave to the graduating class at UT a couple years ago.

    It was fantastic.

And now I'm left with McRaven saying Brennan is one of the best, etc..

I truly hope the President takes him up on his offer, and revokes his clearance. He has stained his service and his uniform.
