Colorado. I said it in another thread a few days ago but there is actually an old man who walks around my neighborhood every couple of days with an AR-15 on his shoulder. He's been doing it for years is what my neighbors said. Nobody bothers him, he just said he likes to go for walks and likes to have the AR with him. His name is Jim (ironically, Old man Jim lol).
Yup, my guns are nice and locked up in my gun safe. Thanks for pointing out what a responsible gun owner does. I do use them for drunken bragging rights. The assertion is wrong...Mass murders are actually down. The peak was in the 20's...and 9MM/10MM are simply ammot types. 9MM is about the most common round out there. I would quess that at least 1 in 10 gun owners owns a 9MM...the 10MM was invented for the FBI and is both rare and expensive. The AK series is at least as popular as the AR15 and is a lot less expensive.
She wants to ban all assault style rifles, shes just using the term "AR-15" to describe all guns like that.
That's one way to look at it ... another way to look at it is I wouldn't even bother to have to listen to you embarrass yourself explaining *Home Defense* in terms of many AK's ... LOL.
Reduce the violence in the media, put the mentally ill in institutions, and let the folk who are not demonsrably ill free to protect themselves wthout the fer of government and grabbers.
But there is no such a thing as an assault weapon that is different in any way BUT style ...looks do not an assault weapon make.

I don't have use the AK's for some defense, that would be stupid and irresponsible. I have a shotgun that I can pretty much just point in your general direction. Much easier. "LOL"....
sooo she is gonna jump on the "assault rifle" bandwagon eh??? i guess she forgot that it wasnt an "assault rifle" that put her in the hospital and killed a little girl. this proves even more that the liberal lefts attack on semi auto rifles that look like military style assault weapons is dumb and sensationalized by emotion. the Sand Hook and Aurora shooters could have done the same damage with a hand gun.

In 1998 during the ban on assault weapons, after shooting and killing his parents, Kip Kinkel drove to his high school in Springfield Oregon and shot and killed 2 students then wounded 22 more. He used a .22 semi-auto available at WalMart and is in millions of closets across America.
That's why libs plan to take away all the guns. Better to stop them on the beach before their anti gun invasion gets a toe hold than agreeing to an assault rifle ban that will never be enough to satisfy them.
We already have the Soldiers on the payroll too. Get them back home from all those hundreds of unneeded bases around the world, and let them protect something far more important. Then close all those unmanned bases, and reduce our deficits at the same time.
