    You're right, I am only afraid of seeing guns, for they have to be brought into visibility to be used. (If you ever see a gun I'm carrying it will probably be the last thing you ever see)

    Yes, cops do make me uncomfortable. I'm not like Alfred Hitchcock who admitted to an irrational fear of policemen but I do realize police are armed and authorized by the State to use the arms they have and act accordingly.

    You're correct that Wikipedia is a primarily amateur-fueled site, and also correct most amateurs are self-taught or other forms of hobbyist. You incorrectly assume any entry there is true simply because it's there, and the writer knew anything about their subject. Even more germane is that it is also factually true that almost anyone can go in and subtly alter facts, either deleting or changing something (on any topic whatsoever). Wikipedia cannot be trusted for itself but can on most occasions provide intelligent leads to better information.
