Yes, that's exactly how the device works.

The 'despot' does a few things to convince you of his/her power, then uses that power to frighten you into obeying the 'no pride' 'don't question' rules. And that display of power can be positive or negative. When the object is to avoid questions being asked, the key is to make pride sinful - so either will do. Of course, they first warp the meaning of pride to anything which remotely resembles critical thought.

Everyone keeps telling me that most Americans are ok with it but everytime I post evidence that contradicts that nobody can dispute me. What do you think of this?

I was one of the people that voted. How can anyone say most American's or most conservatives are ok with it? Polls mean nothing to me. I don't trust them. The people of Iowa never had a say in Gay Marriage. 6 people complained and 4 judges made it legal. 3 of those judges were fired by the people of Iowa who were not happy with the decision. Liberal polls and judges do not get to say how most American's feel on Gay Marriage. The truth is there is still a lot of people who are not happy with it.

This is a load of crap. I know gay people that could care less how nice their neighborhood is or how successful they are in life.

The fact is the gay agenda is pushed by a minority who feel threatened while the majority are forced to go along with it or be the bad guys.

Well said and a very good post. Jesus was a real person and he did die for our sins. Many will disagree with you because they only see what they want to see.

Would you be ok with me reading a book about God and Jesus and why I know he is real to a bunch of 3rd graders?

It's only fair that kids be allowed to learn about God if they have to have the gay agenda or a book about a male couple shoved down their throats.

    An 'ATROCITY' really?

Don't you want your kids to know that being gay is a thing and not be bombarded with new knowledge later in life than one would hope?

Why do kids .. who have enough to learn and contend with .. need to learn about a single very specific non-standard human variant? There are a thousand different things that humans are/do, which we don't feel any need to mention at school.

Further, are you suggesting that 'new knowledge' in adulthood (like any kid gets past 12 and doesn't know gay is a thing) is something terrible? Seriously?

That is such a cheap and stupid debate tactic. It's like asking you when you chose to speak English. Since nobody can point to when that occurs, then you'll say "ah hah! You see! Speaking English is not a choice!"

    Seriously, it's a cheap tactic.

Just Because you get 2 to 3 million illegals and queers in California and New York voting for you I don't think you call that getting it right !
That's why we have the Electoral College so that B.S. can't happen ! The U.S. is 2-5% HOMOsexual and I'd wager 75% of them reside
    in Calif. and N.Y. !

I reckon it's on the rise - big-time. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if it weren't made compulsory in the fullness of a very short time. Oh and one man's non sequitur is another's parallel?

Well, if I have kids I want them armed with as much truth as I can possibly give before they go out in the "real world"

I don't think teaching them that being gay is an actual thing is what will "break the camels back". School already teaches a lot, kinda silly to think THAT would do it.

And I never said it was anything terrible, stop over sensationalizing it and putting words in my mouth.

I blatantly and clearly stated I would want my kids to have as much knowledge of the real world as they could before entering it. Well, actually I asked you if you would, implying that I definitely do.

Well, one gay guy is considered one of the fathers of every I-phone, laptop computer and computer workstation in the world - is it really so terrible that school children learn his history?

Kids read thousands of books about princes and princesses - is it really so terrible that ONE out of all those books has a gay character? Is that really the end of the world for you?

Kids don't need adult sized information .. because they're kids. Part of our role as parents is to be judicious and age-appropriate with the information we give them. A very important part of our role, actually.

Meantime, 99.9% of them will readily adapt to new concepts, even if raised in a cave.

They don't need special attention drawn to ANYONE'S romantic and sexual status. Gay or straight. It's beside the point, when you're a kid. The iphone is what matters. The castle the prince and princess live in is what matters.

You have to love the balls that lefties have when it comes to that. They demand to illegally let in their third world cousins and let them live in their inner-city ghettos so they can cast illegal votes, and then when even that doesn't work, they point to their illegals and scream about losing the popular vote, even though they know full well how Presidents are elected.

The sheer cheek that takes requires some major clankers.

Our BBC promotes it all the time! Don't ask me why though! Some sort of agenda I guess.

As random trivia goes, I guess it's as good as learning that George Washington had dentures made out of wood. It might add a bit for character development when talking about something important, but overall, it's not a fit topic for kids.

This reminds me of one very old prof I had who was explaining why he had been absent for a few classes. He had passed some kidney stones through his penis, and he even drew a large picture of a flaccid penis on the board as a way to illustrate the path this stone took.

For some reason they can't comprehend that homosexuality is a normal variant within humans that needs no treatment !

You understand none of that is empirical proof by definition right? It doesn't stand up to scientific scrutiny.
