Ask Bush supporter John Hagee and his minions.

A lot of Catholic bashing over homosexual priests molesting young boys CAME FROM CATHOLICS. You are right, tho, Catholics aren't as opposed to gay marriage as most denominations.

Did you just find that out? Congratulations... Oh, Putin is also still president; Crimea is being taken over; millions of Americans don't have jobs.. and if they do, they have crppy part-time jobs... what else is new.. Iraq is in shambles even though Biden basically says it was a success and some black thug got shot by a white cop in Missouri (Eric holder is flying in, but nobody really knows why, after all more innocent blacks are being killed everyday in chicago - a place he is not visiting)..

    You're welcome....

Too bad it wasn't a steaming pile of feces dumped on him just like he did with the country during his 8 year reign of terror.

    Great post.
It's sad that Bush jr. prefers to get dumped on than to donate money. Typical con.

    Lol…Such revisionist twaddle.
Tell that to the drowning people during Katrina as he choppered over floating corpses for a silly photo op, or to the millions of vets caught up in the VA scandals during his tenure or killed and maimed in Iraq for his phoney war.

I think the entire bucket dump thing is silly and a waste of time, but he DID donate.

It's always best to watch and comprehend. Saves embarrassment.

but 2020 is coming, then 2024.... he's still got plenty of time. And if it's a "bush name tainted" thing... then this is a pious attempt by W to rebuild it. I agree with you as far as the unfair part.... I liked him. But lets not overlook, he's still a politician and he still has a legacy

I think it's a respect of the office thing.

Between HW's letter to Bill that he left him in january 93, I think it's just they understand that they are all in a select fraternity

I didn't say that, either. Does anyone know how much he donated? Do you?

I understand the "rules" of the game is, don't do the challenge, pay $100, do the challenge, pay $10..... but unless you have some financial statement that W only paid $10...... I think you are just partison politiking.

I still think W is posturing for some reason, but I'm not a partison hack that can't tell when horse crap stinks because it's my horse

you've already used that one, get new material already....

this is what you don't get, you judge a person's value on how much (you see) he gives.

    1. W. isn't a "better" person than anyone on here, because he gives more.... he earns more.... 100,000 for him, is not the same as it is for you and I.

    2. if you want to act holier than thou.... at least judge on % of earnings. 10% of my salary vs 10% of his income are two way different amounts. But when 1% of his income is more than our entire income.... to try and judge him better is laughable.

Obama donates his entire Presidential salary to charity.... did Bush? Does that make Obama a "better" president?

it hurts when fellow conservatives are so niave and say such stupid statements. Because, I hate to defend liberals in much of anything.... but you sir, just posted opinion, called it a fact, and have nothing to support that assertion.

you're quite the judgemental person, aren't you....

is he better than you, then, too.... after all, I'd think he's given more than you have as well.

Does W. get a closer seat to Jesus when we are all dead and in Heaven, because he could afford to donate more than you or I?

you are exactly who the ALS challenge is targetting.... a self-righteous person who needs people to see him donate for it to "count"..... lol

on a side note, I got challenged, again, by a buddy, yesterday on FB.....

I'm not accepting, nor am I donating $100 to ALS because in my budget of charity.... that $100 would be taken away from another charity I had previously deemed more important to me and my family to donate to. I mean, which is more important... the childhood cancer research, or ALS? Because finite money means there is economic choice in who gets that designated amount from me.

People who do this challenge are people who aren't donating to charities already and are guilted into doing it.

    I like Bush too.

But that does not mean I'm not allowed to see his shortcomings too.

And he was a bad president who left America worse than he found it.

you judged W to be "better" than myself and a liberal on this thread based on how much more he's given to charity than we had....

so the same must apply to you, as well, as W has donated more than you have as well....

so, is W better than you, too?

I didn't attack W.... I attacked the silly challenge.... comprende?

I think ultimately, W will go down as one of the better presidents, ranked up there just under Reagan....

I also think the ALS challenge is for people who want attention

it's the perfect challenge for a narcissistic society...... mixing charity with attention seeking

Still don't want to admit that there is an anti-Catholic virus in Texas???

There was nothing racist about my post. FACT of the matter is, a lot of Texans would like to run Mexicans out of their state and they see Catholic priests as subversives because they generally support poor Mexicans. But I guess it's better to go through life with blinders on, huh?

What are you talking about? He wrote a check and took the dunking! A lot of people have. But guess what? Obama simply wrote a measly hundred dollar check. Why? WTF knows but my guess is: he can't cut short his golf game to take a challenge from 86 year old Ethal Kennedy! Hell she even took the challenge and got a good dunking at her age!

Looks like Obama is the chicken s.hyt afraid of a little cold water!

Bush is a great guy...and I miss him a lot. Such a kind and loving man who doesn't seem to be filled with the hate that so many others are....

Even Democrats like Bill Clinton enjoy being around him and are good friends.

Neither does ignoring his war crimes or being a corpse because of Dubya's lies. Just ask the 4,400 + dead Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who aren't here anymore.

Yawn, let me know when you get off your high horse, that's if you even know how to get on one in the first place.

Fact is I doubt , people will ever be held responsible for Iraq, that's. a sad fact. So how's being a little angry dick going to help you out. SO spare us your fake outrage.
