You say it is fine for Ukraine to join NATO. You say it is fine for Ukraine to seek protection from the US. Russia says it is invading Ukraine to stop it becoming part of NATO. If you think that isn't an issue then you must support Russia withdrawing from Ukraine so it can join NATO and get protection like Cuba did. If it is OK for Ukraine to get protection like Cuba did then it must be OK for the US or NATO to send armed forces in to Ukraine like Russia did with Cuba.

Discussion of nuclear weapons is pointless? Because NATO didn’t end when the SU collapsed the Cold War never ended. Which means everything that has taken place since the Cold War started is still relevant today. This is how Russia sees it. I support any agreement that stops this war. The Cold War is now a Hot War.

 

But ruZZia is much weaker than the Soviets. Just watch their bad military performance against Ukraine. If they keep fighting like this, it will take them ~50 years to conquer Ukraine.

And today's Russian military is far from being able to reach German soil.

No matter what ruZZkie barbarians tolerate. "Natzee" tanks like Leos and Abrams enable Ukrainians to defend their homeland and drive out Russian occupiers. That's the point.

 

You put way to much faith in NATO. When the **** it’s the fan it will be easier to herd cats than keep NATO together. The German Foreign Minister who declared war on Russia is having to plead with NATO countries to provide more “aid” to Ukraine.

 

Our great, smart and beautiful Annalena is unable to declare war on other countries. Even on rogue states like ruZZia.

 

She did say Germany was at war with Russia.

 

She told the truth. The whole free world is silently at war with ruZZia, since many years.

But that doesn't mean we have to immediately send troops to destroy moscow.

The only person in NATO to tell the truth is a woman. Sad that a woman is the only one who has balls. The slow destruction of Ukraine and its people is unforgivable. NATO needs to stop the cowardly proxy war and go directly against Russia. That is where it’s heading eventually.

 

Please read my post again. Your response does not address what I said. I said that the supply chain and inflation problems started before the criminal invasion of Ukraine.

 

Is the Putin Doctrine as valid as the Monroe Doctrine?

 

The Monroe Doctrine didn’t stop the SU from building a base in Cuba so not sure just how valid it is. The US removed it’s nuclear weapons from NATO country Turkey right after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.

 

By valid, I mean does it have a legal foundation.

If we can assert dominion over the western hemisphere, can Russia assert dominion over its back yard?

 

Why should we westerners ever allow terrorruzzia's influence on any lands?

There were supply chain shortages and higher inflation because of the pandemic. The pandemic is now over and supply chain shortages and higher inflation still persists because, for example, the war in Ukraine.

 

There is no reason to respect the government in Washington, or the one in London. Both have been committing military aggression (FYI that's against the law) around the globe for decades.

At least Putin complies with international laws before he goes into other countries like Syria and Ukraine.

I don’t agree with Russia invading Ukraine but I do understand their concerns. Everyone needs to find a way to deescalate this crisis before it’s to late.

 

Western military actions were always directed against dictatorships and despots. We always fought for good.

Most criminals have a history of being relatively harmless.

 

You know how these things play out. Putler won't back down because his own neck is on the line and that is ultimately all he cares about.

 

I do believe the Russian folks care about their homeland. Many still remember the Nazi invasion.

 

Or at least, they remember what they've been shown and taught about it. Putler has been exploiting that, of course. He and his allies have gone to great lengths to compare that to this fascist invasion of Ukraine, which is quite perverse and exemplifies the Russian model of propaganda which turns reality squarely on its head.
