The claim, the bar that was set, was about a CRIME, I wish I had a dollar for every time one of the TDS claim he is a criminal and when I ask for the crime I get let's move the goal post responses like yours. And judges should prejudge persons with their personal opinions, Judges don't charge people with crimes, they are supposed to be the impartial trier of fact. And when did advocacy of a legal process become a crime? Rightly or wrongly Trump believed that challenging electors, as the Dems had done in the previous three elections, was a legal and constitutional process. Where's the crime? When is writing a legal brief a crime exploring legal POSSIBILITIES a crime? When is it any of a judges business for which a case is not before him to make such public declarations?

 

I asked for a premise for the assertion, I get none.

Still, the ruling is consistent with a legal theory advanced by the House select committee investigating Jan. 6 that Trump and others may have broken the law in their attempts to overturn the election.

Let’s assume for a moment that Biden actually did get the votes claimed in the 2020 election.

Trump still got 70 million votes. Do you think those people who voted for him are more or less likely to vote for him again.

Do you think it’s possible that 10 million people are pissed off enough with the economy and inflation that they’d tell the democrats to **** off? I do.

Be careful what you wish for because you’re going to get Trump again in 2024 on the Republican ballot.

Yea they had to go all the way out to California to find a judge. Has Trump been charged with a crime? It is NOT the duty or job of a judge to charge citizens with crimes and yes I read some of his opinion which is based on the hyperbole the Dems are current engaged. And there is no false equivalence, the Dems in the previous three cycles object to ELECTORS have counting their votes and tried to get new slates. That is what Trump was trying to do.
