Has it? If so, did it obliterate a market for non-genetically modified foods?

The difference is the fact that all the genes in a poodle come from canines. They did not take the genes from another species and place them into a canine.

In fact all the genes in a poodle come from the parents line. They did not have to "insert" the genes of a monkey or giraffe into the canine species to get a poodle.

Look, it's been estimated that one billion lives have been saved by GM foods. If "respect for god's design" means prioritising that principle over 1/6th of the Earth's population then there is something inherently retarded about that approach.

    Who said anything about obliterate?

How about not widely available due to a lack of demand, which is due to a lack of faith in the product?

Would you buy a coke if you knew there was a 1% chance you were going to open the can and get spoiled milk?

I see no distinction. External manipulation was involved regardless, poodles still have nothing to do with the vision of a higher power. Why can we control breeding to create something radically different from the original but splicing in genes is off limits? Why is that where the line is drawn, and what gives anyone the authority to make that call.

This is the most retarded thread I've ever seen.

LMAO! It's pretty much the same argument that you used in your OP!!

"You can't be a Christian and support altering God's design!!" is about the same thing as saying "If God wanted us to have GMOs he would have given them to us!"

I was addressing the OP, but I should ask: why? What possible difference could it conceivably make?

Can someone prove to me that millions of lives have been saved from GMO's or is this simply more propoganda?

The US throws 40% of its food in the trash every year.

Huh? Every grocery store in my city has an organic food section. Hell, there are ENTIRE STORES dedicated to nothing but. Whether there was widespread fraud committed or not, I don't know, you have yet to establish that, but even if there was the market is still there, obviously. So, what's your point again?

Yeah, I bet you are the first person to be screaming bloody murder about God's design when people start having the option to determine intelligence, eye color, race, ect. through genetic manipulation!!

Your link says nothing of what you claim propagandist!

How does this measure the effect on the market that people's lack of faith in something actually being organic has?

Here's how you know if it's God's work or man's:

whoever it is who chooses what the sequence and arrangement of the genes is going to be.

I have no more of a place drawing the line than you do. In fact, nobody does. I support human augmentation.

The idiocy proven by certain people's lack of ability to understand the difference between changing building blocks, and the manor it is done, is absolutely awe inspiring to me!

Funny because animal splicing is banned in most first world countries.

It is illegal today in the US to breed a human female with a male ape!

Oops, sorry. If you need more evidence do some research into bionic wheat.

How does this refute what I said?

It shows that organic foods are still widely available...?...Which is counter to your claim. I thought that would be self-explanatory.

Nothing that can't be done with hydroponics!

That you said people don't care, when there are plenty of laws that say people do care.

My claim was that there was evidence that wrongly labeling food has already occurred, as you had previously claimed that this scenario was fictitious .

Now you are again engaging in conflating ideas, which along with your BS source you posted earlier is really making the case for you being a propagandist!

Where did he say that people don't care? Certainly not in the post that you quoted.

There have been multiple studies on Round-Up.

    http://www.monsanto.com/products/Pages/roundup-safety-background-materials.aspx

Now....It's about time YOU provide proof that Round-Up, when used properly, has caused ANY adverse health effects on human beings. I have provided link after link in my posts, you have provided absolutely no support for your position. Put up or shut up.

I said nobody has a place drawing the line, not that they don't do so anyway...
