There is no shame here, particularly in the fact that a foreigner doesn't have a clue what makes the US system of Government historically special.

Just like the Founders did when they arranged a rule precisely for that reason.

So diversity of views and living situations should not be considered?

What the residents of NYC and LA view as priorities should not be all that matters.

If you want a national popular vote, you are in favor of the largest voter suppression scheme in history. You will literally be telling 90% of the country that their vote doesn't matter.

That's bit to say the EC doesn't need changes though. If I had my way the popular vote of each state would get the 2 'Senate' votes. The 'house' votes would be rallies by district.

I would also live with all votes being proportional.

Farmers are not subsidized to prevent them from going out of business. They're subsidized to control the food prices market.

That doesn't mean that they're good or bad - though there's plenty of reason to think they're bad - but your notions are clearly false.

Red States are only 'takers' because of the farm subsidy, and without farms, you'd starve.

Which "foreigner" do you mean? Just to be clear, I'm an American.

I really shouldn't continue to have to correct you, but I will.

    We are not a democracy.

Their reasoning was to protect the Republic from what they called the tyranny of the big states. But now, we have the tyranny of the little states.

If only you could actually clarify what you mean. But then again, you may just be trolling. A number of Conservatives I know do tend to like to do that...

That being said, while you are at it, you can also confront your ignorance when it comes to a person's nationality, for you see, Geography does not necessarily = nationality.

When the money topped 30 million I stopped paying attention to it. Before I stopped, there had been a few articles about Handel finally embracing Trump since Trump's approval rating in the district was at the time of 51%.

There are a few Republicans, how many is hard to tell who think Trump is an interloper who hijacked the Republican nomination away from a true, real, Republican. Most of those Republicans voted for Trump last November. Anyone was better than Hillary Clinton. Now that Clinton isn't in the mix, some of those Republicans are beginning to let their true feelings show about Trump. Would these type of lifelong Republicans be willing to let a Democrat win in a district roughly 3-2 Republican to send a message to Trump? By that I mean stay home and not vote. Maybe exit polls will answer that question. Handel hasn't been that popular down here among Republicans anyway.

Handel may be between a rock and a hard place when it came to supporting or not supporting Trump. Support Trump, the interloper Republicans stay home. Distance herself from Trump, the Trumpsters stay home. All and all it may be, just might be a recipe for disaster for the 6th districts seat. For the Republicans I mean.

Just what do you do when 20% of your own party are never-Trumpers. During the general election being never-Hillary over rode that never-Trump. But she is no longer there. It'll be interesting. Without Hillary Clinton there to united the never Trumpers and the avid Trumpers in the midterms next year, that may mean a banner year for the Democrats.

Characterizing a condition in which the will of concentrated areas of the population doesn't happen to win the Presidency is not "tyranny of the little States".

It's an example of how the system is supposed to work. If you candidate didn't epically suck, perhaps the outcome would have been different, and you could have saved that block of cheese for another whine.

You have no excuse for failing to understand the purpose of the Electoral College.

:roflol:The first one in a long list who just let the cat grab that tongue. It doesn't matter whether Osoff is ahead or not. What matters at the end of the day, is the illegal maneuvers of voter suppression.

Has anyone found the 40,000 Democrat voter registration forms in the sixth district that election officials lost, while Karen Handel brags about fixing voter ID laws, that affect no one?

Gullible enough to respond and ill prepared enough to debate.

Look here folks. A second one who cannot challenge the facts. I have a feeling I'm going to have a long list before this is over.

This isn't a fact, it's a sketchily supported allegation. That's all it is.

Heres a fact for you. 64 million Americans voted for Trump and not a single one of us had a Russian gun to our head. Its a ridiculous accusation by a party who can't admit they LOST. Surely you've got something more important to research and debate than excuses for Hillarys loss 7 months ago. :deadhorse:

Really? Says who? You? The lady in that clip gave numbers as to how many voters were registered and how many were lost. Do you have information to the contrary?

You don't need a Russian gun. You just need Russian bots hacking into our election databases to deflect the vote from counting, which happened in 39 states. http://www.msnbc.com/am-joy/watch/more-russian-election-hacks-on-the-horizon-970638915590 So no, it was more about a certain Hillary Clinton who didn't get all her votes counted based on a breach of the voter databases to get as many votes off the count as possible, to favor Trump.

By the way, why is Trump MIA on this? This was a security breach, and Trump hasn't said a word? I wonder why that is? He wasn't colluding together with the Russians was he?

I'm still waiting? How is it a sketchy allegation? The clip has numbers in hand. And? Your counter to this claim is?

The "subsidies" are crop insurance, research into plant diseases, and incentives to get the farmers to grow what the government wants, instead of what might benefit the individual farmer more monetarily.

I thought I made that clear. It's an allegation. It's not been substantiated. You keep holdin' on though.
