They were telling the truth despite the US on no evidence calling them 'Barbaric' and Israeli spokesmen saying as you have said that that is the Israel broke the truce. Even as of around 6 here last evening we were hearing them say they would be pounding Gaza until he was freed though we also heard that some Israeli's did believe he was dead.

We don't know whether he was ever in any way captured. Hamas had already said all these people were killed in an air strike and if he was with them then he would have been too. If he was then he may well have been killed deliberately by 'friendly fire' and it looks likely that Israel knew this all along so lets see what Israel has been doing to the people which Freeman was congratulating.

Who was responsible for such a massacre that the dead men women and children were in make shift vegetable refrigerators piled one on top of the other Freeman? How can any army who claim to not target civilians kill so many that they are piled one on top of another in vegetable refrigerators everything else being blown to smithereens.

You seem to be investing an awful lot of hate in a people who are being slaughtered by the thousand (and mostly with freely supplied US weaponry too) that have never attacked America nor to the best of my knowledge ever deliberately harmed any American . Well, knowing a thing or two about Islam and moslems, I had a misfortune of being in Osh in May of 2010, so I've seen firsthand what enraged, indoctrinated by Qu'ran moslems can do to each other and to infidels. That event changed my perception of what Islam is and what is done by moslems in the name of Allah. And I do not hate them, really, I just know them. And I trust Israel more then I trust Hamas.

He behaves like a common bully to responders who does not write what he thinks.

The aid to Israel benifits everybody Palestinians included as it amounts to about 3% of the Israeli GDP with spending conditions that benefit the US as a return in exchange for first class intelligence, state of the art weapons and computer improvements and equipment, battle test weapons systems, an entire front in the ME that doesn't require a complex of set defense agreements with blowback potential or a carrier group to sit outside it's borders threatening it for fear of causing regional strife and providing what Haig said was "Israel is the largest American aircraft carrier in the world that cannot be sunk, does not carry even one American soldier, and is located in a critical region for American national security." and in return, Israel has to allow the US to place a collar on it so it can't do what it wants to do and defend itself properly.

Without the US placing a muzzle on Israel the Palestinians would have been given no other option than to make peace as their capability to make war would be non existent as their supporters would be long dead.

 

Hamas are first and foremost the Palestinian nationalist resistance movement and there is no connection whatsoever between them and the heart-chomping and head-chopping ISIS and AQ maniacs.

 

Except they are an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, more trouble makers. Oh, and they blow themselves up too.

 

Reports tend to suggest the IDF killed their own man, rather than all him to be captured.
Murdering POWs is a common problem with extremists (as we saw with ISIS a few weeks ago), murdering your own troops is something we only see with the IDF.
