I believe it is Loretta Lynch who defied her own Subpoena and we see Democrats not forcing her to testify.

House Judiciary Committee issues subpoenas for James Comey, Loretta Lynch

A judge definitely would do it but not to Lynch, Lerner and Comey, et al?

No ... you're talking to yourself again JS. We ... meaning "we" posters who are on topic, are mocking alt lefties who've insisted Jimmy "the weasel" is honorable. Former boss doesn't see it that way. Lynch says Lyin' Leakin' Jimmy perjured himself. So turns out Trump, Sessions, Rosenstein, and IG Horowitz were right to conclude Comey was an lyin' leakin' insubordinate con man. One that you idolize. :heartbreaker:

I'm pretty tired of hearing that documents will be released soon.

They should have been ready for a big dump immediately after Mueller submitted his report.

Another one congress can't prosecute? You know (D)'s could refer Barr to a DC court for perjury. It ain't like the DC prosecutors ain't liberal enough. Judge Vomit Mehta will take the case.

Why do Trumpists find it necessary to invoke whataboutisms rather than trying to prove their case on the merits?

Never mind. I know. Because they can't prove their case on the merits.

"And of course he could allow McGahn to testify, his taxes to be released, and information relating to security clearances to be released."

True. He can choose to undermine the Office of the Presidency by subjecting its authority to Congressional blackmail.

It is available to select congressmen, but they have not bothered to look at it.

There's a reason grand jury proceedings are legally kept secret. It is difficult to get grand jurors (you don't want hostile grand jurors) and it is difficult to get people to testify (you don't want hostile witnesses or whimsically taking of the fifth). Take away their privacy as they serve and testify, and watch cooperation going down in the tank.

I've seen a couple of grand jurors dismissed for hostility to the DA, they just wanted to be hostile to get out of serving and not lose work money, and the DA didn't do anything except dismiss as the office was already burdened to the max with serious crimes. I guess that's why the DA's choose alternate extra jurors to step into the gap -- it beats having to call a whole new bunch.

You can only ask so much of people.

Criminals occasionally have petit jurors killed before, during, or after their trial, but grand jurors are safe generally so long as their identity isn't known.

The petit juror is the forgotten person in the justice system.

The grand juror makes great sacrifice to serve.

The trump tower bs is just dumb and nobody cares :bored:

If trump wanted Russian help he would of did what Hillary did and pay Russian spies to produce a dossier.

Democrats seem not to mind putting those on the Grand Juries life in danger. As bad as they think of Trump who has power, one might think the Mueller report would satisfy them.

The way DOJ operates, the Mueller report was just for AG Barr. He went all transparent by releasing what he did release. But he owes the Grand Jury the duty of the court to not endanger the Grand Jury to possible risk of danger. Say a Democrat knows who is on the Grand Jury and reads what he said. He could kill the Juror and try to blame it on a republican. Democrats are not boy scouts.

Another problem with Grand Jury testimony. They do not operate the same as a jury trial. They can indict a ham sandwich and the miracle here is they did not indict the Trump sandwich. We saw how they indicted a former congressman called Tom DeLay. Delay had to face trial but when it ended he was not pronounced guilty. We had a rogue TX prosecuting attorney.

Trump isn't part of the judiciary. Special counsel rules voted yea on by most Democrats at the time require a judges order to get the Grand jury info unredacted. The fact that the Dems don't seem interested in following the rules on this simply screams political grandstanding.

So what I get out of it is that except for the statement that Lynch and Comey testified oppositely on whether Lynch asked Comey to refer to the Hillary investigation as a "matter", the entire video consists of speculation, prediction, expectation, and assertions based on those predictions, expectation, and assertions. Are you serious? It's a big deal whether Comey referred to it as a "matter" or not? Really?

Anything to divert attention from Trump's crimes.
