    I'm of course referring to the proposal in the OP. A repeal of 2A would mean law abiding citizens could no longer own a gun, correct?

    It may be that owning a gun would still be allowed but also strict gun control would be allowed

    A repeal of 2A would still allow for people to own guns? How so? 2A allows for law abiding citizens to own guns. Repealing 2A would do away with the right to own a gun, would it not?

    I just never understand why it is that liberals want only government to have guns. It's sad. It demonstrates that what liberals really want is a world where they don't have to ever be bothered by folks who disagree with them, and when they show up, government gets to ship them off to the gulag. This is always what happens when people cannot defend themselves from government.

    That all being said, I don’t see 2A ever being repealed (at least in my lifetime) given what it takes to repeal an amendment.
