    Simply stopping to think before you post might keep folks like me from applying some analysis to what you wrote and ask you hard questions about why you take a position that will so lopsidedly effect minorities in this country. Some would characterize that as actual racism these days, and if you were to actually codify that into law, you'd have created structure racism. But hey, I get it, you didn't think it through yet...

    Federal government does not have the authority to regulate private party gun sales that don’t cross state lines. That is a state issue.

    So if I manufacture a suppressor in my garage and sell it to a friend who also lives in my same state, the Commerce Clause doesn't apply? If I assembled an AR-15 with parts made totally in my state and sold it to someone in state, the Commerce Clause doesn't apply?

    Right because manufacturing assumes interstate commerce and is how we have the background checks we have now. There is no manufacturing in a private party sale and interstate commerce is not assumed.

    The "fair" bill is 100% in conflict with California's leftist totalitarian gun laws.

    I don't see California rejoining the Union and having fair gun laws.
